“I’ve come to this restaurant twice and ordered the same thing. (I like to make sure what I call order isn't a “hit or miss,” so I want to order it 2-3 times to ensure it's good.)

1st time was my own, and 2nd time was when I recommended it to my friends and family.

I told them, let's get the “Mad fries.” they loved it and wanted to come back… not only that, but it's worth the money. It's a nice big plate you can share with one person, and I'm a big guy. I am satisfied with half, so it's worth the price.

Now, the only reason I rate four stars is because I can't rate 4 1/2. It's a fantastic restaurant with great food, excellent customer service, and affordable pricing. You can taste and feel the authenticity of this place.

But their drinks are a little out of taste. The fountain drinks either lack gas or syrup, have too much syrup, or taste weird. Their drinks, like lemonade and juices, are also lacking in taste. The cups are huge, but we can definitely say size doesn't matter if the soda tastes weird. ?

Overall, it's a great place and worth the try. I hope you guys enjoy it!

Parking: They have a small parking lot next to them going down on south federal Highway, but right next to them is a pizza spot called “John” or “Jim” Pizza. I can't recall the name, but I sometimes park there since service is typically fast.“

“Michael was very attentive and informative, loved the service he provided. The buffalo chicken sandwich had great flavor. I feel the waffles taste like pancakes the texture is very soft and fluffy. The chicken tender was very light in flavor. Presentation was on point.“

“Disclaimer: I am not the audience for ordering food and picking it up from a box without interacting with human beings. I'm not there yet. So although I'd heard of Soulfly, I wasn't particularly interested in visiting. Nevertheless, was celebrating my mom's birthday and the birthday girl wanted to come here after our wine tasting next door.

I'm glad the experience was not as impersonal as I anticipated. Partly because I just didn't feel like sticking to the script but also I couldn't get that doggone pickup situation together. LOL I had so many issues with the code to retrieve my order, it was seriously comical. I did observe others come in, put in the code, get the food and go though.

You do have to order on the kiosk but I was able to ask the manager if I could order it like this or that, which he happily made note of for my particular order. There was a little wait for having ordered onsite - things would have felt quicker had I ordered online from offsite then stopped in to pickup when notified the order was ready. I had the wings and cajun rice. Now what surprised me was that chicken! Ok, Soulfly! Very nicely seasoned, good crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. I was impressed considering my expectations. It reminded me of those good chinese takeout chicken wings. Nice surprise. The cajun rice was just okay for me.

The challenges to me coming back are that the price is just high for what you get. I understand there is a cost for "convenience" so it is what it is. However adding $6.54 to the order when I had to do the work to place it then pick it up is.... I don't and won't mind continuing to do things the old school way to pay a more reasonable price for fried chicken in other nearby neighborhoods. Also, no "convenient" parking. I feel like this spot is more geared towards people strolling on the street or for food delivery drivers who will be on a moped only.

Overall for the chicken and helpfulness of the onsite staff, I give it a 3.5, not just a 3.“

“The flavor … oh the flavor. Their cuisine is prestige! We had the Jones n’ Hot Chicken sandwich which was so full of flavor with a kick of just right amount of spice; the jalapeño fries were the bomb and last but definitely not least the sweet potato biscuit is to die for! These biscuits melt in your mouth. So good, I had to bring some back to Houston with me. I highly recommend Chick N’ Jones you won’t be disappointed.“

“We love Krispy Kruncy Chicken! This location has halal meat (certification displayed!) which is wonderful. We love their chicken tenders and biscuits. The location is not traditional inside a gas station, however it's well worth the fantastic flavorful chicken.“

“Food is still the same old school of breaded seared chicken. Best feature? They use real chicken. We found KFC's offers to be too salty. Fries are extremely salty. Chicken is salty as well but gets disguised by the breaded spices mix. The staff is excellent ?. The environment is very cozy and quiet. Kids have a great time here even though they also complain about the salty food.

“As soon as walked in, a cashier named Karen took my order. Karen is such a sweet person. I ordered fried chicken. Karen told me that my food will be ready in an half an hour. So I waited in my car. To my surprise before I could get out of my car to get my food, Karen hand delivered my food to my car with a huge smile on her face. Because of her customer service, I will be back. “The food is good but the people is a different story, I when to purchase a 14 piece meal for my kids and my self. and I was doing a favor for a friend, since I was going for my self, as he asked me to buy for her a 5 piece meal, everything was OK until a lady came to the register ( think it was the manager) I was using a coupon for each of the meals, I explained to her that one was for my home and the other one was for a friend but she kept saying I only can used one, again I explained that it was not for me the small meal why I'm going to get a 5 piece of I already was getting 14 pieces. just make to separate orders, but this small minded woman keep repeating her self that I can't, if my friend was there she still will have to do a second order... So no I will not recommend the location on 54st Northwest between 12th and 11th Avenue. they are rude and unprofessional... The old manager, was a kind an friendly lady. Train your management more than your cashiers... Their title goes over the heads. I'm going to Boston Market... even Popeyes is better...“

“It was delivery, so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere. However, I can say it was very fresh and flavorful. Which is precisely what you want when you want good food. That's pretty much there is to it. The food was very good.“

“I stopped here because police were routing traffic into their parking lot and drive thru around an accident. I ended up getting stranded in the parking lot. The manager was nice enough to let me just roll through the drive thru, so I decided to at least buy a Chocolate Cookie Cake.
