“Of the thai restaurants in the area my family and I chose this one because I wanted them to have a good thai food experience as I have living in Thailand, everyone had a good idea of what we wanted as for me I chose Tom yum soup and green curry, I must say everyone was happy with our dishes with one exception, of all the dishes I did not enjoy my Tom yum at all, I ate the 3 shrimps and left the lemongrass water because that was the Tom Yum, you see the Tom Yum I have in Thailand has more veggies and not just 3 shrimps and just water so overall I can't give it 5 stars because of that and also feel the place while cozy doesn't have enough thai decorations , happy dining. “Hoshi is always full of people enjoying their food when we eat here. Never packed but perfectly busy. The atmosphere & staff are great……one person among a few stands out to us most, Eugene, the sushi chef. We love sitting at the bar & he is always friendly & smiling! He encourages us to try new bites and decorates the sushi in such a way that you want to eat every piece. Some of our favs are Tom kha soup, Fuego roll, Lobster roll & various pieces of sashimi. “My experience overall was very good, servers were great, food amazing and very good portions, I also had a very positive impression about the restroom. The only negative side was paying, since the waitress showed us our check, everything was correct but when she charged she ended up charging our friends check on our card. Once noticed, we paid ours and still the system was telling that nothing was paid, even though we had the restaurant receipt and the bank app notification. The thing was taking a long time and manager ended up taking my husband's phone number in case the transaction was declined since we did not agree to charge the card a third time. Overall, it was a positive experience and I would come back, I just don’t give 5 stars for the payment method.“

The service was good, they changed couple of the recipes, they were very nice to mention if we don't like the food or the new recipe we can always let them know or make comments for their improvements. The ingredients are so fresh with delicious taste. The staff is always so friendly too which makes the whole experience an enjoyable one.“

For dinner my husband has the had the red dragon and spicy crab rolls. I had the tofu red curry, also DELICIOUS. It had been a while since I found a place that made such delicious curry. I’m familiar with authentic Thai food from visiting Thailand and I know Asian food is usually a hit or miss in Miami but I was pleasantly surprised. Pork dumplings were good. The drunken noodles were savory and great in flavor. I’m happy they offer pork as a protein as some places don’t but My complaint is the pork was over cooked. The mango sticky rice was 10/10!“
“To start off I want to say, I love this restaurant and have loved it for many years. I’m a south beach local, and I constantly find myself craving Thai House. I love everyone that works there & they have some seriously tasty stuff. The curries are amazing, the soups everything is top notch. The ONLY DISH that you would think would be the easiest thing to make food, happens to actually be terrible, and that’s their Pad Thai. Such a basic dish, I hardly ever order it at Thai restaurants but when I do I know what to expect. The pad Thai at Thai house is easily the worst, super dry, you can barely taste anything, it’s almost hard to even eat. I thought this once but because the food is so good I figured, eh maybe it’s a one off. Tried again today and I can’t get more than 3 bites in. It tastes as if they make a giant batch of it, and then use that same batch everytime someone orders it. The crushed peanuts all stick together in a little ball and is the wettest part of the dish, would kill for that to be swapped around. Anyways, I highly recommend this place, just DONT GET THE PAD THAI, big waste of money. Trust me, order literally anything else.“

“The search for mind-blowing Thai food in the greater Miami area continues. Lotus Garden is not bad; it's decent food. But it's not great. It's not someplace I would go to a second time. I realize that the Miami area is predominantly Latin/Hispanic, but a person would still think that phenomenal Thai food in a city this size would not be hard to find. No doubt there is some exceptionally delicious Thai food somewhere around here, but I have not found it yet. I always go with some sort of fried rice for my first visit to any Thai restaurant, and this was no exception. I would have preferred pineapple fried rice, but that was not an option. So I went with regular old pork fried rice. The list of ingredients was rather sparse, and the flavor was just OK. It needed a good bit of Sriracha sauce and pepper powder to liven it up. On the bright side, the staff was very pleasant; no complaints about them.“
