“This brewery is a welcome addition in the Venice area. Before they opened last year, I drove to Sarasota or Fort Myers for good beer. Every beer I have had is exceptional. For example, the dunkel currently on tap makes me feel like I am back in Munich! They started serving food this year, and I have enjoyed the 3 menu items that I've had. Service is always great, and the entire building is exceptionally clean.”

“we first found pizza gorda in punta gorda and were regulars every sat nite, everything is always excellent. When they opened in Venice we hoped it would be as good, and it is. We are regulars there now and look forward to our dinners. You can't go wrong with anything!!!”

“First of LOVE the name definitely a Vibe. To start I had the carne asada tacos 🌮🌮🌮 best I've ever had hands down top notch! everything was cooked perfectly the meat was super tender and well seasoned fresh toppings the limes were juicy 🤤 EVERYTHING was on point! “Best meal in a few years along with great atmosphere! We started with corn ribs, sweet potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and hummus for appetizers. Drinks were great, old fashioned, midnight, Cassandra and the Normans! Then we had steak kabobs, steamed octopus, the burger, shrimp and lemon potatoes. Deserts were manna split, soft serve with sea salt and olive oil, custard pie, sticky croissant with pistachio. Everything was absolutely perfect, and spectacular! If you come to Sarasota be sure you go the Florence and the Spice Boys! At UTC mall area.”

“Wow Wow Wow! Absolutely delicious and authentic Italian food! I never order pasta from a pizza joint... I'm way too serious about my pasta. I took a chance on Capo as I'd had a slice of their eggplant pizza and it was fabulous. I orded the rigatoni bolognese, and requested penne as a substitute. It was heaven. The sauce was perfect - the amount of garlic was subtley handled as was the rest of the seasoning. No bitterness and not too sweet either. You can tell the sauce had been cooked awhike and not rushed. The meat was high quality and the coupe de gras was to burrata! A huge helping of cheese right in the middle of the dish. The serving was huge... I only needed it for myself and I got 3 meals from it. Of course as all pasta lovers know it was even better the second day. I had the good fortune to be offered a meatball to try by the owner. I went back the next week for an order of meatballs and tried the gnocchi. Highly highly highly recommend giving this place a try!!!”

“My wife and I come to Siesta every year. Spearfish Grille is one of our favorites. Last night was amazing. Giovanna, Jasmine, Taylor, and Jada were excellent and fun. We had the special fish with shrimp and a lobster sauce. outstanding. Thank you.”

“Absolutely the BEST ice cream around. As a family we drive an hour nearly every week to eat Jake's ice cream...YES, it's that good! Incredibly kind owner and staff as well, this place is a must visit if in the Sarasota area (and beyond!) Once you've tasted Jake's ice cream it's hard to ever eat anything else, he's raising the standards for homemade ice cream with every flavor - although we all have our favorites we've never tried one we didn't like!! (My personal favorite is Salty Turtle)”

“Loud obnoxious music that they won't turn down. No getting away from the boom, boom bass. It's in the bathrooms. Can't hear the boats go by. Between songs you get a break and can enjoy the light chatter of people talking for 30 seconds and then the booming music starts again. Food and service is mediocre. Lot's of other waterfront restaurants to enjoy.”

“We had a family gathering catered by Dolce Italia and everything was absolutely amazing! We had trays of the Trenne Dolce Italia with sausage, an eggplant dish and homemade pasta with meatballs, which was absolutely delicious. The Mista salad was beautiful, fresh and the perfect compliment to the meal. The process was easy thanks to Matthew’s suggestions and the food was hot, packaged well and ready to be served.”

“If you truly you want to taste of Cuba brought to your table, then go straight to Belkis, she has such passion for her food and her cooking, she brings the spirit of Cuba and her ancestors with her she oking all over again. She's been gone for quite some time now. But I can tell you my grandmother was born and raised in Cuba and left right before Fidel took control. When I tell you she has the best Cuban food and the best and most authentic, it is 100%. You can't get any better than Belkis! We have a lot of Mexican food here but she's the only true Cuban food, if you want the flavor of Cuba to come home to your dinner table or your lunch time goes to see Belkis on the island, she's right between the car wash and the old hospital, the gas station right there that it's on island itself walk-in make a right. And there she is cooking in her kitchen!(She was able to survive 2020 in the months in between by herself without help! She was open and ready to serve you at a moment's notice!) She was never closed once, and she does a lot to help the community! She is truly a gem in Venice and a staple! She reminds me so much of my Cuban grandmother, from cuba. She has that nothing can knock me down attitude keeps going. But mostly she puts so much love and caring into preparing every meal, when you want real food. That's not an assembly line and only uses the freshest of ingredients! No need to think twice go ahead and go, as a man that stands behind his word! I will gladly put my name behind hers

Vegetarian options: With all the vegetables she uses when she cooks, she can prepare your traditional Cuban food without meat. It's like asking your grandmother or your own mother to cook you a meal . She can customize anything to your liking

Dietary restrictions: She cooks everything from scratch so just ask her, and she will cook you any kind of Cuban food you would like. She will customize any order with no charge

Parking: More than enough parking, it's on the Venice island, and it actually stands on its own little baby Island what the gas station. There is always parking no matter what and very close parking

Kid-friendliness: Not only is a kid-friendly it's family-friendly! When you eat there you are family. Even if you eat there once your family for life

“Jeremy the host was very welcoming and explained the difference between the dining room upstairs and the tavern/bar downstairs. This was our first visit and he suggested upstairs. We were sat at a lovely table outside overlooking the water. Our waitress Becky was very attentive professional and pleasant. It is busy but has a nice ambiance, excellent food, and excellent service. Ariel, our waitress, did a fine job. The steaks were cooked as ordered. Entrees came with salads and a side. The Filet and Lobster Tail with sides of Mac and Cheese, the Filet with salad and a sweet potato, and the Salmon and Shrimp with salad and a side of Brussel sprouts were all delicious. I would not hesitate to return.”
