“This is our new favorite restaurant! Family owned and run, the food, hospitality,and service was fantastic. It's a small quaint restaurant serving Mediterranean food freshly made on site. We hadthe musakaa,then combo skewers of filet, kafta and chicken with roasted potatoes, pickled turnips and onions,alongside veggie stuffed grape leaves.All with unlimited hot pita. We had an excellent lebanese dry white wine to wash it down. Everything was perfect. For dessert, don't miss the knefe and assorted baklava. Amanda was an amazing waitress, brimming with personality and charm, she really took care of us. Next door is their market, which we will be frequenting often.“

“Another great score: my new neighborhood includes a an authentic, family-owned Greek spot, The Gyro Joint, with amazing food & friendly service not even 2 minutes away! This is already the 2nd time this week my sister & I have gotten their food. My only gripe so far is that they're not open later than 9pm! Already confirmed their gyros are the bomb so tried wings tonight and they did not disappoint! Crispy, meaty, & served with a tasty housemade dipping sauce. Deeeeelish! Can't wait to try more!“

“If you're craving the most delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Plantation, Izgara is your place. The food is fresh and healthy and delivered to your table quickly. The restaurant itself is so quaint and welcoming, and the staff is super friendly. My go-to meal is their falafel platter. So good!!!We've been enjoying Izgara for years- not just when dining in, but also when hosting family and friends at our home. Whenever I cater at home from Izgara, I always receive messages and phone calls asking where the food was from because it was so good. “The place is a dump. But that's where you get the best food. It's a little bakery that makes these little flatbreads with different toppings on them. It's so amazing. I've been there probably 30 times in the last year that I moved here. And I take everybody I know whenever I have the opportunity. I hope they keep their prices low like it is, because that's definitely another reason we come back over and over again it's reasonable it's fresh and it's healthy and delicious. “The best middle Eastern food period. We have been coming here for years and never been disappointed. The owner or the Manager always smiles at you. The staff are friendly and good. The restaurant is neat. The food is fresh and yummy. The platter includes lamb, beef, and chicken, with the perfect blend of rice. We miss the red chili sauce they used to have which is replaced by sweet and sour sauce. Fried chicken is average and the desert we loved was the brown colored one. The orange kunafa wasn't as expected. Overall good experience and we will definitely come back and always .“

“Probably the best Lebanese restaurant I’ve been to in the states! I don’t say that lightly either — the kibbeh was exactly the same as I remember from Lebanon and the Mulukhiyah was almost as good as my Teta made it. Really an amazing experience all around, the owners are also very kind and made the whole night feel like we were in Lebanon again! HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, especially if you’re looking for authentic homemade Lebanese food!“

“We were down in Florida on vacation (from Canada) and staying in the area and were trying 'new things' all week.This restaurant was on top of our list of places that we would go back to if we were ever in the area again. I had never had Israeli food before or even kosher food in general (where we live does not have Jewish people that I know of).We had the large chicken kabob plate and shared it. It came with a mixture of salads. The salads were great and the chicken was flavourful and tender (Turkish tomato salad was my favourite). The pita was also soft and delicious.The guy who served us was very knowledgeable, friendly and made great suggestions for what to try.I am fairly familiar with middle eastern food in general and Israeli food is very much in the same family (hummus, pita, meat, veggies). They even showed us how they have to keep meat and veggies separate as well as the work stations cleaned in a very fussy way as per kosher rules (would be good for vegans!).Anyway, I really enjoyed the place and learned a little about what kosher cooking is all while enjoying a taste of Israel.“
