“Summer Wood Cafe a new place in town we didn’t know existed for the past year. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered Lychee Lemon Tea, Cake Cream bubble tea, and Iced Thai tea and all agreed it was a thumbs up. We also ordered Dumplings as appetizers and later the Double Dragon Tempura Roll, Summer Sky Lobster Roll and Tempura J B Roll, and Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and all of it was delicious! Not only was the staff super friendly but they even came out with birthday music in English, Cantonese, Spanish and French and even ice cream for our son, without us even asking. What a special treat it was for all of us!“

“My first time here and I brought my carnivore son. He was skeptical but we were celebrating Mother’s Day so he didn’t complain. We both loved our food. And he said he would come back again. We started with some yummy mocktails and the potato skin appetizer. It was amazing! I had the Thai lettuce wraps and we shared the brownie for dessert. With not many vegan restaurants nearby,, It was just so wonderful to be able to choose anything on the menu. Service was great too. I can’t wait to return.“

“The sushi/ sashimi is the freshest and tastiest I’ve had in the area BUT- my only complaint and this might be a personal preference thing - the rolls are HUGE. like overly bulky and big, and they are very loose and sloppy. Like the rolls fall apart when you pick them up. They need to be rolled much smaller and much tighter. One roll I had to eat in almost 3 bites per piece. You def cannot pop one piece in your mouth. I also thought - and again this might be personal preference- but the sashimi pieces were soooooo thick. Like the salmon and tuna sashimi looked liked small square filets I could cook on a pan. It was almost 1 inch thick. I just like my sashimi thinner I guess?

We had California rolls with lots of masago, chicken teriyaki, miso soup and a few bowls of lobster bisque, plus what our daughter had. It was amazing. I have a thing with restaurants that will have specials posted on the wall or written on a board , it lets me know they're growing as restaurant and open to ideas or willing to try new things, and that is one of the first things you'll see when you walk in. They'll have them posted on the wall where you can see. They also have a lot of pictures on the wall to show you what they're menu items look like. I love that everything on the menu isn't over priced! Great for it's quality of the food and quantity. The atmosphere kind of takes me back to a NY/NJ Sushi spot and you just know that if it looked like this, the food was gonna be great. They served all the popular rolls and they do have rice dishes like katsu and they have takoyaki which is something we are always ordering. Overall ,The service was on point, they were quick and attentive all while answering phone calls for orders. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid sushi spot. 🤙“

“I was in the area for an appointment and I decided I want to stop in this place that said Thai sushi express. I ordered the vegetable soup, and it was one of the best vegetable soup I had ever had quite condensed with tofu and the vegetables. I also ordered the spicy tuna sushi rolls excellent. I even like the seaweed wrap that they use, which was very different from other places that I have been a patron of. I will go again and make it one of my regular places to eat. I do agree with other reviews that it is some of the best sushi I have had in this particular area of Florida.“
