Like 4 of these stars are for Amanda, the MVP server of the weekend. She was so kind and funny, even with literally half of Ocala's 70+ crowd waiting in the wings for a table. All the food we got was delicious diner food, pretty much exactly what you would expect from a little diner in the middle of Florida. Wow, if we could give this 10 stars we would‼ Our meals here were delicious and plentiful and the service was friendly and prompt. Have been here many times in the past, all the way from Michigan when we come down to visit Ocala-- never have been disappointed. Highly recommend a meal here and will return. Okay I'm originally from NY and a new transplant to South Florida (Miami). I know great food and don't expect much more often then not... The personality of the restaurant is so much fun! It's what you expect from the south. All the regulars with the crossword puzzles, the waitresses that have worked there for forever and a day and the falling apart decor that you'd pay through the nose to have American Pickers recreate.
