“The place is modest mom and pop type place but the food was AMAZING! We ate the buffet. We walked in and the selection seemed small at first glance. You won’t find the selection of Golden Corral but the food is gourmet. Both my husband were pleasantly surprised at how delicious and excellent choices. My husband first time trying Mediterranean food. He kept going on about how delicious everything was! Everything was fantastic down to the tea and rice pudding. I will most definitely be back. You go get a burger meal for $15 bucks, forget that you will get fantastic food for $20.“

“This restaurant is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Mediterranean Arabic food or wants to try it for the first time. I am blown away by the quality and freshness of the food — everything tasted like it had been prepared with the utmost care and passion. The tabouleh salad was AMAZING! The hummus was creamy and flavorful, the falafel was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the kebabs were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

“Woke up hungry (night shift problems) and found myself here because it was close to where I needed to shop. I have eaten here before but never wrote a review. As always, the food was delicious! It’s not authentic Greek food IMO but it’s flavorful. I am used to shaved lamb or lamb / beef combo, not made on a flat top but again, still good. Pimento cheese has a good kick to it and the lamb gyro was tasty! I do love their Taziki sauce because I prefer more of a dill based sauce than cucumber. The establishment is clean, food service is fast and the staff friendly. Located off of Loretta Rd. and San Jose Blvd in the Winn Dixie or for you animal lovers, Dog Town parking lot right next to Tijuana Flats. Come give it a try!“

“Here's another "Hidden Jacksonville Jem!!". I was born and raised in Jacksonville on the West Side and grew up on The Sheik!! 51 years later and they Still Don't Disappoint!! The staff at this location did a fantastic job from service, cleanliness of the restaurant to the quality of the food!! Hamburgers are still huge and best fries ANYWHERE all at an affordable price!! If there was a Sheik in Ocala, I would eat there every day! But for now, I'll drive as it is worth the drive all day long!! Thanks to ALL and we will be back!!“
