Out of all the places we stopped
I already saw that at Universal this place had the worst service. No one told you where to stand in line to order or that there was a specific pick up area. We stood in what was supposed to be a pick up line and then were told we were in the wrong area not by staff but people standing around. After we finally ordered there was a super long wait to get our food. Many people were complaining because it was a crazy long time before you got your...read full review

Extreamly slow service, the best person at this site was the cashier. Tables were messy and attitudes of servers was very lacks. Would not return to this facility again.
The staff was Friendly, getting our food was quick, the seating was decently clean for a theme park restaurant. The food was the real problem. I have an iron stomach and typically nothing will phase me, gas station hot dogs to super spicy thai food I'm good to go. The Teriyaki bowl was a terrible idea, 10 out of 10 I don't recommend.

Comic Strip Cafe, located inside Islands of Adventure between the Marvel and Jurassic areas, offers a comic shop themed atmosphere and a variety of menu items such as bacon cheeseburgers, pizza, chicken sandwiches, salads, ramen, and eggrolls. The food is decent, with some items like ramen and the beef bulgogi rice bowl combo standing out as unique choices at a theme park. The restaurant is large, with many tables inside and some outside, and it stays cool inside, which is helpful on hot Florida days. Refill stations are available inside, and mobile ordering through the Universal app is encouraged for convenience, allowing guests to order from anywhere in the park and sit down until their food is ready. The menu includes some unusual items like ramen with pork belly, which many find surprisingly good for a theme park, featuring a flavorful broth, egg, bean sprouts, noodles, and green onions. Other options like the cheeseburger with bacon are large and filling, although the fries can be very salty. Service during busy times may be slow, and staff sometimes seem distracted, which can delay food delivery. The cafe is very clean, and wheelchair accessibility is good with little to no threshold at the entrance. Overall, Comic Strip Cafe is a solid choice for a quick meal, especially for those looking to try some unique items or enjoy a classic burger or pizza.
