Our family was lucky enough to be one of the first customers at the new Orlando location on International Drive- we stumbled upon Don Pedro’s Café & Pizza 2 Orlando when out looking for a unique pizza place that our kids would enjoy and we couldn’t have been more satisfied! Don Pedro’s Pizzeria & Scoops is an absolute gem and a great new addition to the area. This brand-new, authentic mom and pop small business delivers genuinely good food that is absolutely delicious and amazing. The pizza tastes just like authentic New York pizza and is by far some of the best in Orlando. Options include the lasagna pizza, a classic cheese, and a GLUTEN FREE pizza that does not taste gluten free. It is brick oven pizza with ingredients imported from Italy. The crust is perfect, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is extremely cheesy and very good. Other food like the lobster ravioli, chicken Philly, and a cheesy sub are also excellent.
The gelato deserves its own praise and you will not be disappointed with flavors like strawberry and cream, pistachio, salted caramel, and biscoff. The restaurant itself is a small, quaint pizzeria that is impeccably clean and will remind you of the center of Rome. The customer service is top tier, exceptional, and excellent. The owners care about the customer experience and their passion really shines through. It is a spot that delivers in every way and you will definitely be returning.
