I finally remembered not to eat before going to the Lotte Market! I was excited to try one of the many options inside the mini food court and opted for Izziban Katsu as my first meal on the premises.I ordered the Chicken Bento Box which came with well marinated and tender bite sized pieces of thigh meat chicken over a stir fry mix of carrots, onions, and other veggies. This is just one of the restaurants in the food court. It's so difficult to choose because they are all so good. This time I ordered the takoyaki and the pork dumplings. The takoyake was hot and gooey in the middle and the flavors burst in your mouth. The dumplings were crispy and delicious with the sweet chili dipping sauce.

Food was great, the curry was very rich and savory, the chicken katsu was incredibly crispy and paired great alongside the curry and the brown sauce in the picture. The side dishes were great too, delicious miso soup, crispy pickled vegetables and some fluffy white rice. Highly recommend trying this place out. Trying to find a seat when lotte is busy is the only bad thing I could say about this experience.
