I think for theme park food this was good. Universal is extremely lacking in the food department, but this place was good. The buffalo chicken sandwich was flavorful, just wish the bacon was a tad more crispy. Good fries. My wifes chili cheese dog was delicious. The 50s diner vibe is a nice touch too. Sure did beat the food we had the prior day at krustys
Delicious American cuisine, the environment and atmosphere are very good.
We were a little hesitant after reading some of the other reviews, but decided to give Mel's Diner a try for lunch at around 2:30pm. We had burgers, cheeseburgers and a chicken burger, and all were cooked well, hot and tasty. We were pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend it if you're spending the day in the park.
