The food really wasn't anything to write home about. A lot of the food was unlabeled so you couldn't tell what it was. I didn't care for any of the meat dishes at all. The noodles, rice, and other similar staples were decent, and I did enjoy them. I also must admit, the sushi was surprisingly good. Lots of varieties of sushi.
I have been a customer at this restaurant since it opened. I used to go here all the time. It's been some time since I've been here since COVID. I went today and was shocked at what I observed. The building is run down. Outside looks terrible, and the inside was no better. We risked eating here because the food used to be on point. Sadly, either the chief retired or passed away. I've been aware of this spot for as long as I can remember. It used to be good in its prime, now it's a real hit or miss. Would I recommend it? Not really, but for the price and quality of food (which is mid), it may be worth it for some. Just be wary and take a look at your food before actually eating because rotation is limited and cooks vary often as they have a high turn over rate.
