“Delightful local coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the ingredients. I had chicken salad on a bed of fresh greens and all the extras, walnuts, avocado, cranberries, red onion and a zesty citrus dressing they call their own. Delicious!“
“We went there 2x the several days we were down here. The place is very busy in the morning, but the most we had to wait was about 20 minutes (which was fine because the weather outside is wonderful)! The staff were all pleasant and they run this place like a well oiled machine. Food was great too, and you could do lunch or breakfast all day!“
“A lovely little cafe in Sarasota with service and food that matches the pretty exterior. SlI stopped by on a Monday morning whilst on vacation, and though the place was quite busy, the staff was handling it very well, and the vibe was fast but comfortable. My experience when ordering was pleasant and bright, and that was an idiom kept by all staff working at the time.I got a stuffed croissant with egg and cheese and spinach, which was quite delicious. My wife got a stuffed everything bagel with ham, egg, cheese and spinach and commented it was tasty enough that she couldn't stop eating it. I got my children elephant ears that they both liked, and my wife and I split a maple pecan croissant that was decadent and enjoyable. Overall, it's definitely a spot I'd say to stop at if you're in Sarasota, as they also had dozens of other beautiful looking pastries, a vast drink menu and lunch options.“
“This place has quickly become one of my favorites. The food is always good, I'm a creature of habit and always get the Eggs Benedict. Hearty portions and a coffee mug that's always full. The staff here is always welcoming and kind. Would definitely recommend stopping in for breakfast!“
“It is always our first choice for breakfast or lunch! The General Manager, Patricia, is so very kind, attentive, and friendly! She makes us feel welcome and appreciated on each visit! This restaurant is always clean, the food is excellent, and the bathrooms are spotless!!“
“There are lots of tables and they sat people pretty far apart to keep everyone safe. There's a few tables outside too which is nice. We were very impressed. The staff wore masks and were very kind and of course the food was excellent.“
“Green Zebra Cafe is a fantastic place with great food, smoothies, and even better people. Working on the island, it's a pleasure having a place that consistently provides 5/5 food and service. The Boss wrap and the Green Power smoothie are among my favorites. 100% would recommend.“
“This is the best cafe in Venice. Incredibly delicious coffee, many options for making coffee drinks.Delicious food. There are breakfasts, soups, sandwiches, salads, desserts and a lot of delicious things??Here you can celebrate any of your holidays, there is a banquet menu??“
“Exactly what every city needs: a great, cozy diner-type restaurant with delicious food! Menu is large and vast: something for every person on this menu. From classic egg breakfasts to blintzes to wrap sandwiches, fresh pressed juices, in-house bakery items and so much more. Tons of pancake and waffle varieties. Alcoholic beverages too: mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, etc. Very popular brunch spot so you may have to wait a bit if it’s a busy time.“
“Bonjour is a not so hidden gem in Siesta Key. The perfect way to start your morning. Crepes that are crispy, warm and soft paired with a fresh side and a latte. We stopped in twice during our stay on the key and enjoyed both visits. The patio is really relaxing in the shade and the inside is charming.Hope to visit again!“
“The First Watch in downtown Sarasota is the one I’m reviewing. I’ve had mostly good experiences here. The food is good and although it can be kind of noisy, the atmosphere is pleasant. The million dollar bacon and bloody maries are both first rate. I’ve had two really bad experiences here and the last one might mark the end of my relationship with this restaurant. If you go on a weekday morning you’ll probably be fine. If you go on a weekend morning, you’re playing Russian roulette with your dining experience. Some of the wait staff are good or at least average. The problem is that nearly half of the wait staff don’t know what they’re doing. The first bad experience I had was with a waitress who didn’t speak English well enough to take our order. She was a really nice person, but if you need help taking an order, you shouldn’t be a waitress in the busy section of a restaurant. She also brought the bill with our food. The restaurant has a policy of bringing the check halfway through your meal that incentivizes the wait staff to turn tables over. It’s a really bad policy. The last time I ate there (possibly ever?) we had a waiter who was so bad at his job, we stopped eating and left halfway through the meal. He brought the check with the food, got both of our orders wrong, and couldn’t figure out how to bring the person I was eating with a black coffee. Mind you, this guy had the largest section on a Saturday morning. My advice: if you want something decent on a weekday, go ahead and give First Watch a try; if you like sure things or it’s a weekend, go to Boulevard Cafe, Station 400, or C’est La Vie. They all have better food and service.“
“I have found a new favorite ! I stopped in for breakfast and I kept thinking I have to write something on this place! My food was served fresh & was delightful with every bite. My waitress was kind and bubbly & she didn't mind sharing her favorite choices as I was undecided what to get ! Five stars all the way across the board, cleanliness, the food, the prices , the cook, my wait time and my waitress mentioned her name was ashley. I hope to catch her everytime! I hope the staff and restaurant in general gets the recognition they deserve.Also- she has the cutest tattoos all over !“
“Breakfast outdoors under the Live Oak was excellent. I had the count of money Cristo with potatoes, and my friend got an omelette. Our food was excellent— even the toast was great, hot and buttered, and perfectly toasted— and I felt the menu was a good mix of traditional breakfast food with a few interesting flourishes.“
“Loved this little establishment, it is well kept, clean , comfortable and just lovely. The girls were super welcoming and they even had free samples when you come in of their baked goods , the lemon bars are to die for♡ will be back for more with the rest of the office #supportlocalbusinesses #sarasotafl #theoasiscafe&bakery“
“I’ve ordered ahead twice at this location in the past two weeks with 3-4 large coffee carry to-go orders and one included 4 dozen donuts as well. They not only had my order ready to go at the time of scheduled pick up, but also had more than enough sugar, cream, cups, lids and stirrers to go around! Very smooth and easy experience, would definitely recommend this location for anything but especially catering! Thanks Team!“
“I find Eggs-Traordinary to be one of the best if not the best restaurants in 34241. The food is spot on every time and the service is excellent, always friendly. There are a few tables to eat outside and the restaurant is always clean. The menu has a nice variety of breakfast and lunch. I like to eat there twice or three times a month and my favorite is the veggie quiche which is always done to perfection. The side of fruit is bananas, blackberries, strawberries and grapes, always fresh and never the old melon standby. I highly recommend you give it a try...you will not be disappointed.“
“We normally have a very good experience coming to the establishment but I had a very disappointing experience attempting to order carry out. I called in the first time and was placed on hold for two and a half minutes before I hung up and decided to call back and was immediately placed back on hold again for an additional 5 minutes before my wife called in and was able to immediately place an order over the phone while I was still on hold. We would have placed an order online but the selection of customizing our order was not available.“
“We had a very good breakfast at this South Sarasota First Watch. We put our name in ahead of time and didn’t have to wait for a table. The trifecta I had was delicious-the carrot cake pancake and 2 chicken sausages were a perfect temperature. The potatoes were good but just warm. My son’s order came out a bit after ours but the waitress apologized and gave him a big side of potatoes. Overall I would highly recommend this place.“
“Just came in for breakfast this morning was just in the area and I was craving breakfast food as soon as i seen the pics online. I asked the server what her favorite dishes were, and we decided to get the huevos rancheros which was amazing. They also offer freshly squeezed orange juice and the machine looked super cool. HANNAH B. or waitress was fantastic and very attentive. Coming from two servers this place was a 10/10 food service and atmosphere was great def recommend“
“Excellent breakfast on the way to SRQ Sarasota airport. Quick and easy then back roads to the airport. No issues. TY.Bubbly OJ for the last morning of vacation. ?I like the on-line pay and leave when you want to. More restaurants should have this. ✅✅ especially when you are in a hurry…..need to drop off the rental car and catch a flight.“
“We have been going to Peach's for years as a family, and we love the reliability of knowing what to expect when we spend so much just to eat nowadays! Although our experience today wasn't a 5 star experience, I have to share about an exceptional server (tall male with glasses), who always goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure guests are taken care of and needs are met. He always seems happy to help even when we are not sitting in his section. We were not seated in his section today, but our server was swamped, and this extraordinary human didn't think twice about bringing us our food and then responded to all our other requests and did so without making us feel unwelcome or inconvenient to him. I wish we could have tipped him because he was the all-star! I hope the servers that go above and beyond are recognized and appreciated! Because of him, we will be back!! Thanks to Peach's for finding the gems that keep people coming back!“
“Who doesn’t love Waffle House?! Tasty food, fast service and the staff is always very friendly! This is our favorite local WH :)Kid-friendliness: High chairs available. They gave my 1 year old a Waffle House Hat to play with at her last visit which was so sweet!“
“The best breakfast spot in Sarasota hands-down. Wait for a spot on the patio because the vibes are ?. My favorite corned beef hash I’ve ever had and their grits are classic and delicious. If you have a sweet tooth, I recommend the stuffed pancakes or french toast!“
“Delightful brunch spot with cheerful, friendly, and quick service. The Belgian waffles are so fluffy, and the stuffed French toast is delectable. We really enjoyed the thick cut bacon and ham steak as well. Will be returning whenever we are in the area!“
“They serve a great breakfast with a lot of choices!! Whether you want a lean breakfast or a hearty one, they have both. Poached eggs were spot on & real fresh fruit served ! Thick sliced bacon cooked crisp/on your plate & non-greasy potatoes or grits @Enjoy !!“
“Pancakes are HUGE! Grits are nice and creamy. $3. for a good-sized cup. Used to go to Skillets but they reduced the amount to EXACTLY 6 oz (said the manager when I asked). 6 oz for $5,95. I sent them back and Watched her throw them away. I told my waitress "Tomorrow I will order the LARGE SIZE. For more money. And send them back. And watch them throw them away. LOL (not really, but my waitress laughed and said "Do it!" Nope. Not going back. Max's Table for me!“
