“Absolutely the BEST ice cream around. As a family we drive an hour nearly every week to eat Jake's ice cream...YES, it's that good! Incredibly kind owner and staff as well, this place is a must visit if in the Sarasota area (and beyond!) Once you've tasted Jake's ice cream it's hard to ever eat anything else, he's raising the standards for homemade ice cream with every flavor - although we all have our favorites we've never tried one we didn't like!! (My personal favorite is Salty Turtle)“

“3rd Ice Cream shop we went into on the key - and finally - a GF menu (behind the register) and more than 1 flavor offered! I had the Cotton Candy and it was absolutely delicious and did not make me sick! The girls were nice and I was not a hassle for asking about GF.“

“Busy busy busy, day 1 they were out of waffle cones, day 2 they said sorry we're not offering samples at the moment. And the place smells like bug repellent. The icecream is yummy though. Best tasting ice cream. The staff need to get trained for better customer service.“

“The ice cream is fabulous and the waffle cones are made fresh daily. Chocolate peanut butter was rich and creamy. Mint chocolate chip was very minty and the sea salt Carmel had just the right amount of Carmel & salt very creamy. Very clean, no line with a water cooler to gab a sip if you need it.“

“I just wanted to let you in on a little secret. I have lived in Sarasota for 3 years and i have found the best ice cream shoppe in Sarasota. Pinecraft Ice Cream is the best. Located at 3350 Bahia Vista St. They have a delicious variety of ice cream some even dairy free. My favorite is the soft serve twist. While your there order a pizza from Village Pizza By Emma. Reminds me of the great pizza when I lived in New York. Tell them Bob sent you.“
“Had a great time, at a lovely, fun and imaginative course. I've never seen a mini golf course where flowing water brings the ball to the green. I don't know understand the negative comments - it wasn't worn or old, everything was clean. Pricing was very fair. Ice cream was delicious and the attendant/cashier was friendly.“
“We were looking for somewhere to grab a quick lunch before visiting Mote Aquarium. We wanted somewhere quick and convenient and you can get much more convenient thank the Deep Sea Diner. I had a Nathan’s hotdog, my hubby a burger and my granddaughter had a grilled cheese, all included fries. The servings were more than we could eat. They, also, serve ice cream and shakes. It’s a great, convenient place for lunch or a snack while visiting the aquarium.“
