“How does this place only have a 4.1 out of 5 rating, 4.8 MINIMUM!!! We come here three to four times a year every time we come on vacation in Sarasota and I’ve never had more of a consistently perfect meal anywhere. Prime rib is literally perfection. Professional waitstaff and excellent bartenders. Manager has always right before your meal has finished stopped at the table to make sure you’re happy. A+“
“Usually frequent the other location in town because I had a few bad experiences here, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was the best! She was funny, accommodating, and efficient. Made a point to tell the manager he's lucky to have her. Food was good, but it's so difficult to get a steak cooked to taste in terms of rare versus well-done. Came close. Wish they had outdoor seating like the other location, but now willing to patronize either.“
“Bit costly $$$ but one of the best places I have been in. I don't review all places I go to but this is totally 5 star. We had 6 people and we ordered some appetizers and lab chops as main plus other things. Every plate and drink was delicious. But mostly this place worth its money is the stuff (sevrers)! All of them nice and polite even management.“
“Twelve of us went for dinner and it was a great experience. One thing !We changed our arrival time a couple of days early when it was discovered that they had a Early Bird menu. It was a very good deal!We had one server, but she had a couple of helpers. They we're good, but she was awesome. I hope the restaurant realizes what a gem they had.?“
“Had dinner here on Tuesday evening and can I just say it was the best Filet Mignon I have ever had. The seasoning was light and not overwhelming. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and smooth. Our waitress was fun and attentive. All dinners were cooked to perfection and I cannot wait to go back. If you want the best steak you have ever had, this is the place to go. Thank you for an amazing dinner and a really good time!“

“The hostess, she said to call her The German, went out of her way to accommodate us and was extraordinarily sweet. Service was very good.Food was very good. We specifically came because my God Daughter wanted Beef Wellington. The dish was cooked well and had great flavor.French Onion soup was very good as well.“
“So the steak was not melt in my mouth like buttah and yes I got the filet, normally don’t. The rest of the meal was fantastic and wine but I was surprised the steak was not as good. (I think Capital Grille does an outstanding steak by comparison)“
“10 stars! My Fraternity hosted a 90th Birthday party attended by twenty-five brothers at the Lounge. The service was impeccable; the food was hot and perfect; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that everything went on without a hitch. I would give them "10" stars, if I could.“
“Service was great! Love the ambiance - not that many of these older steakhouses around that are not noisy and have a cozy feeling. Loved the filet - barely needed a knife. I was thrilled to get an excellent Bernaise sauce with the steak. My husband was very happy with his salmon. Salad and potatoes were also excellent and since they are included in the price (which is rare any more) it makes the meal prices very reasonable.“
