“We gave our name and were told, “30 minutes.” After one hour checked and were told, “7 ahead of you.” After one hour and 15 minutes were told, “2 ahead of you.” After watching 4 go ahead of us checked again. Manager said, “ thousands are checking in every day. We’re doing what we can.” After one hour and 45 minutes, and harassment from us, we were finally seated. Very poor experience.“

“Thank you Denny's for the free breakfast for Veterans Day. The food was so good and came to the table hot. Our server, Erika was outstanding! She was so sweet, and helpful and kept checking on us and filling up my husband's coffee. We weren't expecting this because of how crowded it was but Erika handled everything with ease. She is the best server we have ever had since moving here. You are lucky to have such a caring employee.“

“What a wonderful hidden gem in Belleview. You would be surprised that a place as nice as this could come from this town but be pleasantly surprised. The breakfast menu is limited and at first I thought that would be an issue but no- what they do have is amazing! Not always do they have tiramisu but if they do while you are there- be sure to get it! The inside dining atmosphere is quite an eyefull. You will feel like your eating inside of a thrift shop. So much chaos but in a fun way. Be sure to stop by this spot in Belleview - you will not regret it!

Parking: Parking is available. There is no valet service offered here if a man named "Greg" offers to park your car for you- Do not trust him!“

“I got the buffalo chicken quesadilla. It comes with blue cheese in it, which I liked because it gave a unique flavor. The quesadilla had good flavor but was not over powering in spice. All of the food was fresh. Upon arriving we were immediately offered a water bowl and service was great from there on out! The restaurant is casual and open mostly serving bar foods. Prices were fair and on par for the area.“

“When you enter this cafe you get a good hometown feel and welcome. Not the big box franchise fast food vibe. Good basic breakfast freshly cooked. Non stop coffee refills - no need to ask as they continue to flow. Staff are genuinely friendly and happy to serve you. Prices are very reasonable (half of what I paid at another location for the same breakfast). I highly recommend you checking out the restaurant.

“A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! We split a Papa's special plate that came with shredded pork, sliced chicken, brisket, 2 moinks, 4 sides(mac n chs, collard greens, country green beans, & broccoli casserole), and we added some burnt ends. We took home about half but tried all of it and there wasn't anything that wasn't flavorful, over/under cooked, or that we wouldn't order again. We will definitely be back.“

“A group of 4 of us went to Sammy Joe's for the Prime Rib dinner. The food was excellent, the service was top notch with such a friendly & fun staff. The Carmel cheesecake was oh so yummy. We will be back soon to try the pizza bc that looked amazing as well!“

“We went to the Fiests Grande restaurant today (2-1-25). Somebody told the manager that my husband was stealing a cup that was on another table. My husband saw the cup and was showing me how cool it was (we are seniors and if my husband liked a cup that he saw he would have asked our server if the restaurant sold them, we do not have to steal. Nor were we dressed poorly.) So, the manager came over to us, and demanded to look in my husband's bag. I felt so bad for my husband! The look on his face! He was mortified! She did not find a cup, because my husband did not take anything. She embarrassed my husband and me in front of everyone. I approched the manager and told her she was out of line and she told me she had to protect her customers...well, my husband and I were also her customers, she didn't protect us from public humiliation! She also told me " I am Mexican, I know how it feels. I don't know what she meant by that. We will never visit that restaurant again, and probably won't go to Mt. Dora again either! Needless to say, our beautiful day was ruined.“

“After golf, 4 of us stopped by, sat at bar. Ricki took wonderful care of us, we had 2 meat loaf meals, 1 fish and chips, and a chicken rice bowl. All were delicious. Place was packed when we left, I would have to say mostly local folks who know a good place. One of our favorite places.“

“5+ stars to the City Fire restaurant and the amazing HOPE for a fantastic experience and great food. Our 14 year old Akita Wishy was warmly greeted and invited to join us at one of the outdoor patio tables. Hope was SO great with Wishy -- lots of water refills -- and finding out Hope loves dogs and that City Fire is so dog friendly just made our visit that much better. Oh and the French Dip and Burger we ordered were great -- and the Bourbon Sour -- perfect! We'll bring Wishy back for more fun soon -- and we'll be requesting one of Hope's tables for sure!“

“My mom introduced me to this cafeteria while I was visiting her from NYC. I had the Oxtail dish with rice and beans and maduros… and it was AMAZING!! It was so good, I had to go back at least one more time to have the oxtail before leaving Florida. Next time I come back to visit, I would love to try the other dishes (they all look so delicious). I love oxtail, tho… and I have to admit that this is one of the best oxtail dishes that I’ve had. As far as the atmosphere of the cafeteria, I found it to be clean and bright while surrounded by quaint and cute decor that made me feel comfortable and relaxed while having my meal. I had such a great experience that I look forward to visiting Villa Pinar again the next time I visit my mom!“

“Vegan food can be tricky to find in The Villages but Sakura saved the day! Our server was Annie - she was very accommodating and knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. I got the vegetable hibachi dinner and switched out the miso soup for the vegetable tofu soup for an extra charge as was told that the miso soup has bonito. Next time I want to try the vegetable tempura (which can be made without egg, just not sure about the sauce containing fish). The food was tasty and I Ieft very full. My family was happy with their (non vegan) dishes as well. Recommended!“

“Girls lunch out landed us at Old San Juan Restaurant. The roast pork is amazing! Juicy, flavorful, lip smacking good, Tthe gentlemen behind the counter could not have been more gracious and the restaurant is spotless. I’ll be back!“

“2024 UPDATE: Came by again for lunch. Staff was still super nice, fast, and food was still decent. I'm still not a super fan of the sauce, but it's good, and the pizza is a little thin for my taste. All in all, a really good little stop and prices were realistic.

2020: Food was pretty good, and the servers were really nice. The pizza sauce is not my favorite but not bad. Entrees were really good, though, and the place seemed clean.“

“Cheng’s Chinese Restaurant in The Villages offers a sweet treat that stands out. These warm, soft and fluffy, melt in your mouth sweet dough nuggets with sugar coating are worth a trip on their own. There are about 6-8 pcs per order and the photo is the last one — large family and these went fast!“

“As someone who works in the fire suppression service field. I almost always hate doing service in these restaurants due to how gross they have their hoods.
I can wholeheartedly say this is the cleanest kitchens I've worked in during my 11 years in this field.
Li was amazing and sweet.
Some of the best chicken wings I've had in a long while.
Next time im out this way I must get more.
