“My wife and I had a wonderful experience when we visited the restaurant in Alton. The music was loud and we were going to leave but my wife decided to go speak with one of the managers to see if he could do anything about it because we have hearing problems. He immediately got the music turned down a little and then got us a seat within 5 minutes. The food was wonderful and Chris the GM kept checking with us that we were being taken care of. “The hostess was incredibly kind and friendly and the vibe is so so good. Food was delicious and the drinks were top notch. Honestly, a great wine bar AND the cocktails were very delicious and artistic. Unfortunately, our service wasn’t fantastic, which was disappointing. It was made worse when the server argued about why he only received an 18% tip and when we explained, he continued to argue with us. Nevertheless, this is a great spot despite our 1 server.“
