“Had a large order for a group. The young man who was working the counter could not have been more pleasant and helpful and the young lady who was working with him was just as nice. Both worked together to be sure that I got exactly what I needed. They were great think some other places might want to look into cloning them! The food was fresh and delicious and well presented. “Erin our waitress is an amazing young woman. She explained how to order should you not want a sandwich you order a platter. Works hard remains friendly and is happy to serve her guests. Hubby had the tuna melt basket came with fries and I had a chefs salad with cucumber and tomato salad and olive salad. Got there for late lunch. Very quiet at that time of day. The shopping center had some interesting stores but no one seemed very busy. But anyone around had smiles and politeness.Definitely an enjoyable afternoon out!“
“My first time visiting and it was the best Italian sub I have had in a very long time. The ingredients were fresh and they made the sub EXACTLY the way I asked. Staff was friendly, very neat. Very clean but tiny place. It was worth the drive from the North End of Stuart. My only drawback was there isn't a lot of meat on the sub. But no worries next time I will ask for double meat. It will be totally worth it.“

“I love this local spot! I have been coming to the Whistle Stop since I moved from Maine about 8 years ago. Throughout the years especially the past few there have been many schedule changes or just days they close without notice which has been the biggest bummer for my family. I was very sad to hear they closed a while back but, was supper excited someone else bought the establishment. The new owners kept many of the main menu staples and to my family we consistly got the same food and quality as we got from the original owners. Taste, service was the same and even a few items they took off the menu the new owner gave us the recipe for. My family enjoys the staff and Whistle Stop but, I did place an order on toast this past Monday and after showing up for my food it was closed with no signs or anything and google says open, I was very sad, I am not upset about the money I lost just that the Whistle Stop may be hurting and I wish them to get it together for they are amazing, so I am giving them a fair rating based on all my other experiences in the past. “Only took me two months to write this...been busy relocating to New Mexico (I know, right?)But anyways, ate it too darn fast to remember taking any pictures if the actual Hoagies, but I wish I'd have stopped in here more often before moving, to try all the variations and grades of meat.Just excellent, authentic, not sure which cities style they claim, the cheesesteak, corned beef, and even the plain turkey were fantastic! “I was surprised to see the low rating for this Subway as I have most always had good experiences at Subway's across the US so I decided to see what was up. I walked in and was greeted fairly promptly. The food prep person was quite pleasant and asked what I wanted and I told her the veggie sub. She prepared it as I told her and I was charged for a combo as requested. I ate in and the sandwich was good. The restaurant was also clean. The only complaint that I have is that I decided to have Root Beer and it tasted horrible. I'm not sure what it was but another customer had just poured his out and we talked about the odd flavor. I decided on tea. So not sure of the pour ratings but I had a 4 star experience.“
