Firehouse Subs Reviews
Do yourself a favor and avoid this particular firehouse sub shop at Airport Commons. First of all the employees are clueless about customer service. I was the only one in the place and I’ve never seen such a lazy staff in my life. I ordered my sandwiches and one of the employees says to the other “ I don’t know how to make this.” I asked the cashier to please make sure no mayo on my sandwich… her response was “ It’s printed on the the order, if they get it wrong,...read full review
Order a simple steak, cheese and tomato with mayo. That’s it. They make it with onions and peppers. I take my order back to be corrected. The receipt says exactly what I order. Y’all, they make my sandwich AGAIN with peppers and onions, this time with tomatoes 🤣 I know it’s hard right now with COVID and employees but I was patient on hold twice! And patient again when asked to repeat the order a third time. Was a little bummed with my first time experience 😕

Firehouse Subs is a no-frills eatery that serves good food and good service. The staff is accommodating, especially for customers with dietary restrictions, such as gluten-free options. The team takes great care in preparing orders, particularly for those with food allergies, making diners feel understood and valued. The beef and cheddar sandwich is a popular choice, and the side salad is a highlight. Customers have noted that while the subs may take longer to prepare than fast food, the flavors are always good. However, some have expressed concerns about portion sizes, specifically mentioning that the Smoked Brisket Sub was lacking in meat. While prices may be rising, the location could benefit from improved cleanliness and parking lot management. Overall, Firehouse Subs remains a reliable spot for a satisfying meal, and many would return if they lived in the area.
