The Landing Strip Tavern Reviews
I came in about 5 minutes before 10pm and sat at the front for about 5 minutes as well while everyone stared at my husband and I waiting patiently to be seated. Finally someone came to us at 10pm to say that they were closing but we could stay if we hurry up and order. Mind you… I looked up their hours online and it clearly says 11pm. I’m sorry but I don’t want my food to be rushed. Please update your hours…I am disappointed and didn’t even eat!
Thank you “Mo” for serving us!
Food was delish and your service was top notch! We definitely will ask for you to be our waitress when we dine in next time. Looking forward to your phenomenal service and the Landing Strip Taverns chefs delish flavorful food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just want to say thank you to Mo and Jamie for making our experience always a pleasure! Mary is wonderful too.. but she was on vacation and Mo was there to take care of us! My daughter Kristin and granddaughter Elizabeth were treated so sweet!! Food and service was wonderful! Thank again from Jack and Ann we will be back:)

The Landing Strip Tavern offers a varied food and beer selection, with standout dishes including fried pickles, Philly cheesesteak, eat & peel shrimp, and patty melt. The service is generally good, and the tavern is known for its unique view of small prop planes taking off and landing. While the seating can be a bit cramped and the atmosphere is average, the tavern has recently undergone a renovation, creating a fresh and inviting vibe. Customers have praised the new menu items, such as the ahi tuna salad and coconut shrimp, as well as the espresso martini recommended by one of the owners. Many guests find the place very comfortable and friendly, often feeling like they are hanging out at a friend's house. The peel and eat shrimp remains a favorite, appreciated for its taste and affordability, and the pretzel is highly recommended as a perfect addition to any meal. The tavern also provides private rooms for meetings or events, ensuring a pleasant dining experience with reasonable prices. Recent visitors enjoyed quick service, with food ready before finishing their drinks, and praised the overall atmosphere and friendliness of the staff.
