Family owned for many years, the team was lovely and the food truly exceeded our expectations.Have you ever seen Shepard’s Pie Potato Skins? I hadn’t — brilliant IMO. The “Shaz Way” wings [tossed in medium wing sauce, lemon pepper, garlic and parmesan] are something to behold. The Shrimp Alfredo was so fresh and clearly made to order — we proclaimed it was as good as any top notch Italian restaurant.If you live near this place and can stop by or order in — do it. Not only are you supporting a local, family run business — but their food is absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to return.“

The octopus is very tasty, great presentation and the potatoes are crisp to perfection. The ceviche is very tasty. The lomo saltado is the best. The appetizers are Latin first rate. “Tried Red Crab for the first time today with my family, it was so amazing!!! Highly recommend the snow crab and shrimp, also the juicy special seasoning!!! We also ordered the shrimp and grits which was good but the cauliflower app was the winner at our table.Atmosphere: This is a cute smaller place with a good amount of indoor, outdoor, and bar seating. The patio area is a much different feel than the indoor dining area and I would recommend outdoor dining for a more wholesome experience.Price: The prices here are fairly normal for the prices of restaurants in this area. “Great food, great service, great atmosphere! We sat at the bar twice during our Delray Beach getaway. One time, we sat on the outside "island" for a couple of Bloody Marys. The place gets very busy, and it's a lot of fun with the boats going by. The following Sunday we returned for brunch but the outside bar was already full so we sat at the inside bar, which did not disappoint! There is a great water view and we had outstanding service from Tommy and Angelina. Although we had our hearts set on brunch they offer an entire lunch menu, as well as a bar snack menu, so there are lots of options. Since we were "in Rome" we had to go for the seafood (we could have eggs benedict anywhere...and we were on the water). The signature seafood dishes were highly recommended and included baked stuffed lobster, fresh snapper, grouper, and "salmon piccata," which was outstanding, as promised! Their chowder was served piping hot, and the specialty oysters were served very cold (room temp oysters are a pet peeve of ours), and with a delicious mignonette. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled spectacular. We met some regulars and other visitors from the tri-states and had an all-around exceptional dining experience. We will be back for those brunch items someday, but it will be hard not to order more of that seafood!“

“I never used to eat Hooks, ever! This place opened and I said let me just try the chicken tenders (I don’t eat wings), & I was addicted! This is the only place I go for chicken tenders, I love them so much! I tell them every time I order thru DoorDash. & the customer service! Phenomenal! There is no other hooks like the hooks on Australian me and my coworkers love this place. I tell everyone just try them you won’t be disappointed! & every time they have everything just right, the only thing I can say is that I wish the parking/drive thru was a bit bigger. “I ordered mild garlic wings with a cheesecake egg-role and replacing Mac and cheese with mozzarella sticks.I can definitely say the wings were very tasty and fresh and definitely something I’d crave daily although I wish the wings would have a mild taste.The egg role was very good and different.Presentation was nice with garnishes and even a side dessert.I’ve haveng yet experienced other flavors then garlic parm and mild but I plan on it .“

It was a Tuesday night they had karaoke singing and we had so much fun. The drinks were great strong and good alcohol. The fryers were down so anything we ordered had to be grilled which was fine with me. The food was surprisingly delicious I was a little nervous because all of it was all prepared on a food truck. I ate the grilled chicken salad and it was delicious. My husband ate the cheese burger and it was cooked perfect. Absolutely fresh and delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was great he brought everything out and we were a large party so it was challenging. He was personable and made everyone feel welcome. When they’re closed and want to see if any other place comes even close I end up having to recook the oxtail for hours or not even eat it.. they set the standard of flavor and texture at an unbeatable level.
