50 Best Food Trucks near Palmetto Bay

“I love that this market goes on every Saturday at our beautiful Coral Reef Park. There are two sections to the market and you can take a beautiful walk in the park along the canal to get to both sides. You can also walk through the shady lawn between the two sections. The park has tons of parking. Even if you park on the far west side of the park, it is worth the pretty walk to the farmers market on the east side. You can also park at St. Richards Church and use the crosswalk or across 77th Ave but I don't recommend that because crossing that street is not very safe. I am getting to know and love so many of the vendors. My favorite two vendors get me there almost every Saturday: Mama Dukes for her outstanding Açaí Bowls (she also has Italian Ice) and ImmunizationHolistics for their super fresh pressed juice. I have also enjoyed buying gorgeous orchids for ridiculously low prices. I love to support LOCAL and SMALL BUSINESSES! Some of my other favorite booths include: *Mediterranean hummus, sauce, goat cheese, and bread *Ceviche *Korean kimchee *Puertorican home cooked food *Smoked BBQ *Lots of homemade soaps *Local honey“

That's how we found sweet and sticky. The funnier part is that he didn't understand when I was making the NSFW jokes about what we were ordering. There are plenty of tables to sit at, if you don't mind eating in the miami heat, considering this is outdoors. My recommendation would be to show up early. The parking on the grass/dirt gets filled quickly and the food trucks do tend to run out of food around 10/11pm depending on how busy it is. All in all, will visit more times to try different locations.“

“On a whim, we decided to take the treck down to Tripical Park and check out Food Truck Fridays. I was initially worried about parking, but we got lucky and a spot miraculously opened just as we arrived. The power of positive thinking. We were pleasantly surprised by the number and variety of food trucks in attendance. From Spanish to pizza, nothing but corn to milkshakes there was a little of everything. We first tried the buttered garlic corn in a cup. Honestly, it was way too salty and had an excessive amount of garlic. Look, we both love garlic, my Filipino wife, especially, but dear God, there was enough garlic to ward off the entire cast of Tru blood. Next, we tried the Korean street food booth. I say booth because it was not really a food truck but a wooden stand. That being said, the food was amazing. We sampled a few BBQ items and could not believe how delicious it was. My wife gravitated to the Milkshake truck because Ice cream and chocolate make her happy. I tried a steak Taco and was very underwhelmed. My boyfriend on the other hand was less of a fan because because red sauces really upset his stomach and the heat was too much for him, but he loooooved the veg samosas and the sauce that came with them. The sauce sort of tastes like a mix of tamarind and apple sauce to me, it was very unique and my boyfriend says it was a really good pairing with the samosas. Everything about this meal was wonderful....starting with the warm greetings we received from the business owner. My husband and I both ordered the flank steak special, served with Chimichurri sauce, Congri' (black beans and rice) and fries (perfectly crisp!). Such a delicious meal! Perfectly prepared with fresh ingredients. While we were enjoying our meal, the owner surprised us with a special appetizer...basically ceviche in a plantain tart cup (see photo). So creative to make the cups from fried plantains. A very special treat, that I encourage you to order! They have beautiful covered seating and outdoor patio seating. TVs keep you current on the latest games. Lively Cuban music plays in the background. They are in the process of securing an alcohol permit...until then, you may bring your own.
