Today was our first visit to Shades Bar & Grill. We were there for lunch & the food & service (our server was Sarah) could not have been better. We ordered the chicken & sausage gumbo, Philly cheesesteak & the chicken jalapeño ranch wrap. Our sides were onion rings & sweet potato fries, however we had a hard time making a selection because of the many great food options to choose from. Rebecca helped us coordinate our Welcome Home celebration for our deployed sailor! Party of 16 was handled like a perfect pro with Nick! Never an empty glass or need to ask for anything: Nick was on top of it! Excellent food (lunch menu), great party room & Rebecca was phenomenal in making it all seamless to decorate & welcome us! Definitely will be a regular here! Thanks again guys!

Shades Bar & Grill is a family-friendly spot with a great tap list and a cool sports bar vibe. The volcano shrimp is a must-try, along with mahi tacos and pepperoni flatbread. The fried fish and shrimp have received praise for their quality and taste, with some saying it surpasses what they get at home in New England. The fries are highly praised, considered the best starter, and the flatbreads are unreal. The cocktails are yummy and strong, making Shades an all-time favorite for many. The restaurant also features cats, adding to its cozy, welcoming ambiance.
