This was the best find of great food and service! Tim was amazing and made us feel so welcomed. We will be back every chance we get and will tell all of our family and friends.
Raw and grilled oysters were superb, and what a fantastic environment and staff.

Gene's Oyster Bar, under new ownership, continues to offer terrific food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere. The menu features fresh seafood like raw oysters, fried grouper, okra, and loaded baked oysters topped with butter and Parmesan, cooked perfectly. The fried shrimp and shrimp and grits are also highly recommended. This local favorite is known for its standout dishes, especially the baked oysters and crab claws, and still sells small glass coke bottles. The staff is friendly and down-to-earth, making every visit enjoyable. With over 60 years of history, first-time visitors often become regulars, appreciating the great food and welcoming environment at this classic restaurant.
