“Summer Wood Cafe a new place in town we didn’t know existed for the past year. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered Lychee Lemon Tea, Cake Cream bubble tea, and Iced Thai tea and all agreed it was a thumbs up. We also ordered Dumplings as appetizers and later the Double Dragon Tempura Roll, Summer Sky Lobster Roll and Tempura J B Roll, and Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and all of it was delicious! Not only was the staff super friendly but they even came out with birthday music in English, Cantonese, Spanish and French and even ice cream for our son, without us even asking. What a special treat it was for all of us!“

“We went in on New Year’s Eve mid afternoon and it was slow. The staff was great but most importantly the food was amazing. We had California rolls with lots of masago, chicken teriyaki, miso soup and a few bowls of lobster bisque, plus what our daughter had. It was amazing. “Had my first experience last night for dinner, with my father (89 years young who is now eating with me in many sushi restaurants). Dad thoroughly enjoyed the egg drop soup and chicken teriyaki with vegetable fried rice! I had a fab roll (name: Rene Roll) with tuna tartare! The restaurant is conveniently located at Powerline and Palmetto near LA fitness. Such a beautiful and very clean environment with music and the Manager, Albert, was very welcoming and accommodating to our dietary needs. With only a .2 mile distance to boot, I forsee this becoming our regular go to for sushi takeout in the area.“

Tuna, cabbage, cucumber, and carrots with wasabi cream dressing was one of my favorite combinations. The portion size is very satisfying. For the price, you cannot get a fresher, tastier poke bowl than this. In terms of the environment, this is a small store, but I really love the vibe and décor. “Sumo opened in Boca Raton, FL during Covid in 2019. The letters on the strip mall in Mission Bay read 'Sumo Sushi'. Not being a fan of sushi, I avoided going in...until today, when I was looking for an alternative to my usual hangouts. Erica greeted us at the door and welcomed us in. I ordered the Temura Chicken and Vegetables and my friend ordered the Teriyaki Cicken. The salad that we selected as our starter was fresh, crisp, and flavorful with a sweet ginger dressing, and our meals were perfect. Erica was personable, attentive, and witty, providing exceptional service. The dining room was clean and so was the sushi bar and the restroom. There are only 7 tables in this establishment and the sushi bar has seating. If you haven't noticed this place because it's set back in a corner of the mall, and you like quality Japanese food, you should give them a try. I'm happy I did and I can assure you that we will be returning. The tempura was some of the best I'd ever tasted. It's my new favorite dish!“

“So our family (well kids to be specific) has always had a tradition of going out to Hibachi for birthdays. For years we were going to Saitos on Lyons and Glades then they closed down. Honestly was never my favorite, but tradition is tradition. So we moved on to Benihana’s. Well don’t be fooled by the name. Their food and particularly their service was waaay below PAR. Anyways getting to the point, we wanted to try a new spot and stumbled on Saiko-I. From the first few minutes after being seated we could already tell the dramatic difference. The service was on point. Drinks served immediately, appetizers and meals ordered shortly after. Then came the chef. He was fun, entertaining, funny and efficient. The food was probably the best hibachi I’ve had. None of the one item at a time nonsense you get at the other places. And they used much less of the butter and other garbage they throw in at other spots. At the end of our meal we complemented the GM and she went out of her way to make our business feel appreciated. The staff here was friendly, classy and fun, and the food was amazing. Found our new spot! No this is not a solicited review, I was just super impressed with this place. Shout out the server Hector, chef Javier and GM Ouray.“
