“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Anthony's Runway 84 in Fort Lauderdale with my cousin, celebrating her birthday, and my mom, who was visiting from out of town. It was an unforgettable experience, and every detail added to the joy of our evening. To start, we had the baked clams and shrimp oreganata—absolutely fantastic. Both appetizers were cooked to perfection, flavorful, and seasoned just right. Then came the main courses: I chose the lamb chops, which were excellent, and my cousin ordered a steak with a sauce that she still can’t stop raving about. And let me tell you, the twice-baked potato was pure heaven—a perfect blend of textures and flavors that made it an indulgent treat. Carlos, our waiter, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and super helpful with recommendations. The host, either Joe or Michael, was also the best, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. If you’re looking for a place with delicious Italian-American fare and an inviting, classic ambiance, Anthony's Runway 84 is a must-visit in Fort Lauderdale. We can’t wait to return!“

“Honestly I was skeptical about his place being a ‘ghost kitchen’ but the food was fresh and delicious.. I feel if you order earlier in the day the Mac and cheese would be creamier but I ordered the fried catfish it’s crispy and well seasoned and the yams were on point and the collards was just right. Honestly would order from them again but might opt out for the Mac and cheese for something else because I like my Mac like creamy and cheese but other than that I can’t complain for ordering from a ‘ghost kitchen’ and the sweet potato pie was a chefs kiss would definitely recommend trying this place I was sketched out from the address and map view but I door dashed and everything was great“

“Average breakfast . I had grits, fried eggs and sausage with biscuits. The tea was good and southern sweeet. The young waiter, Blow, was extremely nice and calm. He wasn’t your typical waiter, but his style worked for a small soul food restaurant. The other male waiter/bus boy moved at super human speed. The place was very clean and definitely is a favorite of the locals. It was my first time visiting. I will definitely try it if I am ever back there.“

“Just chose to stop in fresh off a Carnival cruise. We decided to ignore the reviews and give it a try. I don’t know why people are so critical, food was hot, fresh and just what we were looking for. As far as timeliness, we don’t do fast food! If it isn’t prepared with love I don’t want it, and that requires time.“
