“It has been a long time since fast food, especially taco bell, has impressed me. Last night was an exception.
The cantina chicken bowl was delicious. Fresh crunchy lettuce and some kind of shredded cabbage gave such a nice contrast to the softness of the black beans and rice. The salsa/Pico mix was very flavorful. Just enough guacamole and sour cream. If you add the Avocado Verde sauce on top it's perfect.
For once, the spicy potato soft tacos didn't feel like potato pebbles inside. Again, whoever made these got the texture and portions just right on the fillings. Not too much lettuce or cheese, just right. Goldilocks would definitely appreciate it.
My daughter even commented that the nacho fries were delicious and very fresh. So much so that she mentioned it at the beginning AND end of her meal, which is completely out of character. Absolutely surprising, since the last nacho fry experience was a flop and left much to be desired.
There was a considerable wait for the food and a long line. But, but, but... the food turned out to be quite fresh and much, much better than anticipated so IMO it was worth the wait. Maybe 10:30pm is the best time to go? I don't know if I should press my luck and try another round on another night or just be grateful this last one was so good lol. Try it for yourself!
Vegetarian options: Quite a few things on the menu can be made with beans instead of beef if desired.“
“Amelia was FANTASTIC. She included a handwritten note apologizing for not being able to provide an ordered item. She included a substitution of an order of nacho fries and a coupon! WOW! Food was great. Thanks for making my morning better, Amelia!“
“I really like this Taco Bell located in Pembroke Pines. The employees there are kind and very professional. The same can't be said to the one in Coral Springs that I used to dine at last year. So whenever I am in the area traveling for work or play I make sure to make a pit stop at the Taco Bell in Pembroke Pines. BTW, the one Taco Bell to avoid is located off Wiles Road.“
