“The food was amazing! My mom and I popped in for my birthday as a ladies brunch and it was the perfect fusion menu. My mom got the fried fish and grits and I got the wafflette. The portions are generous. We shared and had leftovers.

I got a build your own boil...Definitely one of the best I've had outside of New Orleans. We got free Beignets after....absolutely amazing service and food. “We just left North South Grill after having visited there for the first time. It's Saturday night December 13th, 2025. Never having before ever experienced a Smashburger in any form, that is what I ordered. I ordered the double blue cheese Smashburger and man oh man! That has got to be one of the tastiest Burgers that has ever passed between my lips in all my 65 years of walking this planet. The fries were equally as impressive. I met Kat and Terry the owners, both real nice people so if you are in the mood for an amazing burger, you owe it to yourself to come on out. My son ordered a large steak sub and was equally impressed.“

“We had a solid experience overall. The arepas rellenas carne were decent but fairly average, about a 5/10 in terms of flavor and overall impact. However, the burger truly stood out. It was flavorful, well-cooked, and clearly the highlight of the meal. On top of that, the service was excellent ,friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. While not everything wowed us, the quality of the burger and the great hospitality made it a very enjoyable dining experience. A strong four-star visit overall“

“Place is always nice and clean. Maria, out server handle the whole restaurant like a champ. At one point she was waiting 10 tables. She was very professional and courteous. Great customer service. This place ac get busy.
I ordered the BEC breakfast sandwich. The presentation was good, and flavor was delicious, but be ready to use your fork. The breat didn't hold the egg. But I didn't mind.

In fact, this restaurant is my go to when I want quantity Venezuelan comfort food in the South Broward. Their homemade arepas are made with fresh ingredients and are the best I’ve ever had outside of South America. They’re served up in a quaint, friendly and inviting location just off Palm Ave and Johnson St in Pembroke Pines. Try them out…. You’ll be glad you did!!“
