AJ's Seafood Chicken & Grill is a gem offering great quality food for a great amount of money. The friendly staff provides excellent customer service, even offering a Military discount. The food is consistently wonderful, fresh, hot, and cooked perfect with amazing taste. Many recommend the fried shrimp, which comes with a lemon and fresh cocktail sauce, and the juicy, crunchy crispy chicken wings that make any local wing place taste average. The fried okra and the shrimp rice bowl are also highlighted as very good. Favorites include the number eight combo with fried shrimp, chicken wings, a side, and a drink like the amazing sweet tea. Other popular items are the fried catfish and shrimp basket with fries, and the crab claws. It is a little fast food place worth stopping at, where the food tastes like it’s from the beach. Do not let any construction stop you from visiting this spot off nine mile, as you will not be disappointed.
