“My husband and I visited this evening for a date night. It was our second time coming (we visit once a year from Ohio). We both had the shrimp and grits, and it was FANTASTIC. So flavorful!! The portion size was perfect, and we both left stuffed. The view from the deck is beautiful, overlooking the water, with pelicans flying by, and our waitress was very nice. We will be back every time we’re in town!“

“This is probably the best burger downtown next to the Misu food truck. The double with cheese and jalapeños with the waffle fries with their seasoning salt and the special sauce is awesome. Hits the spot every time. They serve it fast and there a bar next to it also with cornhole, umbrellas and sometimes they play music in the courtyard in the evenings. I’d definitely check it out.“

“Family visited back in February we waited about 25 minutes to be seated. We were seated waited about 25 minutes to ordered. We finally ordered one of the burgers came out undercooked. We sent it back the burger came back overcooked very overcooked. We sent it back a third time the waiter got the manger because he said he was disappointed. We decided to change to a Chicken Sandwich which wasn't available after we ordered it so we decided to do a Turkey Burger. We waited over an hour we decided to just let it be because everyone was done. I informed the manger and told her it was perfectly fine she apologized for the entire night and thanked us for our patience she asked if we would wait while she checked on things. She couldn't believe how long it was herself!!! We told her will take it to go she covered our ticket...HEAR WE ARE AGAIN TONIGHT!!!! We tried to place our order online but it wouldn't go through so we called it in. We asked for two turkey burgers w/cheese meal no sauce extra fries. We got our ordered and got half home and I checked the bag only one order. I said it was okay I'll eat fries and be good for the night. My husband called and she remember our ordered and apologized and asked us to come back it'll be ready. I was against it but he wasn't so we got there called back the order was ready. I double check the order to besure it was taken correctly she told us yes she'll besure it's no sauce and only one pattie. Which is why we didn't get both from the start of the order was double on one bun. We waited over 30 minutes I stop a manager who has as just walking out to ask her to inform them because they weren't answering the phone. A worker came out with bag apologizing and said he fixed it she didn't word it correctly. He gave me the bag and ask for a payment i was giving him my info while I checked the order and stop mid ways because it was still wrong it was supposed to be no sauce....WHAT A WASTE OF GAS & TIME!!!! I'M DONE WITH FAST FOOD UNLESS IT'S RABBIT FOOD 🥗... Revisited on 2/26/25..The Salad was wonderful❤️..We ordered Turkey Burger w/ Side salad, Cheese Burger Fries & Tavern Double w/Fries ..Every enjoyed the food the service was fast , food was hot & fresh the unlimited drinks and unlimited fries kept coming!!! “My girlfriend and I ate there tonight and had one of the best experiences we’ve ever had out together. We had some drinks and started with the crab claws which are out of this world good. She got the blackened white fish and I got a shrimp po-boy, and oh boy were they delicious. They got our sides mixed up and brought out fresh made fries and okra for us pretty quickly. Everything we had was extremely good. The service was slow, but they were packed. Food is definitely worth the wait. Service is world class and the staff is friendly and ensures you are treated like your business means something. They truly value their customers. She came to our table to assist the guy waiting on us and she started with this attitude, I know she was busy we were trying to give her grace but when my wife says something, my wife is really put out by something because she never wants to make a scene but last night my wife was like this girl is ridiculous. I don’t ever want anyone to lose their job or hurt the reviews of one place but cause we’re not complainers, but this girl was off the chain rude and I hope that it didn’t affect other people last night. I know she was busy. The fries were decent, but $6 for what's maybe $1.50 serving. Too much cash for not enough fries. If you love fries with a good burger, go to Five Guys.“

“I attended the veterans free meal night and totally enjoyed it, I got the steak, broccoli, and mash potatoes which were simply delicious. I had to wait an hour since it was crowded due to everyone wanting to eat at this restaurant. They had enough staff to accommodate serving everyone. I always come here on Veterans Day!

“I have been going to Miguel’s since I was a kid and it’s always been my favorite Mexican in Pensacola! I would recommend it to anyone, that’s why I left a “would recommend” review. I don’t want the positive rating to do down, but I do think the owner/manager should be aware of their restaurant today. I’m in town this week so we decided to grab lunch at Miguel’s. The food was as amazing as I remember, but the service was not so great. To be fair, the restaurant was extremely busy and we only saw two servers working. I think they were trying to do the best they could to keep up. However, after our food was delivered, we didn’t see our server for at least 30 min. I then asked the other server for to go chips, boxes and a dessert and it seemed like we were being a nuisance. Our server made it to the table with our dessert about 20 minutes later and said they had been slammed with call in to go orders. We got our to go boxes and I asked again for chips. She quickly took the bill back to add $1.25 for chips. Here is my opinion: first, don’t leave your tables alone for that long without acknowledging them. Secondly, if you are that busy in the restaurant and can’t keep up, maybe let callers know you aren’t able to take to go orders at the moment. Lastly, I honestly don’t care about paying $1.25 for a bag of chips, but when your customers have been sitting for two hours and were never even offered a drink refill, maybe throw in the chips at no charge.“

“Food was alright, I found a hair in my pancakes, the avocado was old and brown, and the strawberries on my pancakes were still a bit frozen. My boyfriend enjoyed his food with no issues. BUT our server Cody was amazing! He was super interactive but not in an overbearing way. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit this location.“
