Everyone enjoyed their food. Salmon, mahi mahi, coconut shrimp, etc! And don't miss their handmade key lime pie and bread pudding! They also have an immaculate salted caramel cheesecake!

“We’re from Florida, now living in Alabama. There are no Sonny’s BBQ here and we sure miss them. Last weekend we took an end of summer weekend trip to Pensacola. There was a Sonny’s across from our hotel room. Needless to say that’s where we ate dinner and boy did we enjoy it! The food was hot, fresh and just as delicious as we remembered. Our server was extremely friendly and I wish I could remember her name (this would have been on Sunday night, July 30. We were the party of five, three grandkids, my daughter and me). Well, Sonny’s had a big impact on my granddaughter for sure as you can tell by her picture and what she wrote on her “what I did this summer” page attached hereto. She can’t wait to come back to have the best ribs she ever tasted!“

“Visited Pensacola for the first time. This restaurant was close to our accommodations. The menu looked good online so we tried it. It did not disappoint. The service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and the food was delicious. I have been trying to eat foods outside of my comfort zone. I could not decide between a few options but went with the Buddha Bowl. You must try it - you won't regret it.“

“Josey C., our waitress, made us feel welcome from the moment we made eye contact. Elders and teen alike enjoyed the family vibe. We had oyster, shrimp, coleslaw and turnip greens with hush puppies. The service and food were impeccable. 10 out of 10!“

“What a great place for a casual dinner. Though a smash burger place, they will smash it less and make a mid rare burger if you ask!! Served along side THE Best fries in all of Pensacola, twice fried fresh cut fries done perfectly crispy and taste wonderful. Consistently good food all four visits which says a lot. Nice work Sammy Barker team, thank you and see you again soon.“

“Arrived on a Sunday after 2:00, the staff was just getting a break from a busy brunch crowd —trying to clear tables and mop the floors. We were still greeted by smiles, even the chef came out and smiled. We thought the food might not be great after such a busy morning; however, my mocktail was delicious. The spinach dip and chips were hot and came out quickly. We ordered fish tacos/blackened shrimp tacos which were perfectly seasoned.
Less busy than comparable restaurants so a much nicer experience for us all around.“
