“I don’t know how, but every single time I eat here, the food is ALWAYS as good as I remember it to be. To me, this is so rare, that the memory always consistently stands up to the reality and matches. I now have an addiction to the ‘Haus breakfast sandwich. It’s always made fresh at ordering, the cheese oozing through the sides. It’s the perfect blend of sweet and savory, with perfectly cooked eggs and a slight kick due to the pepperjack cheese. I have also loved every pastry I try— unlike the American pastries I’m familiar with, C&C allows the flavors of the ingredients to come into play by not burying them under too much sugar. If you ever have the opportunity to try one of their chocolate cake doughnuts, you should absolutely do so“

“25 mins to get our waters and drinks after sitting down...and then our waiter didn't put in my husbands dinner, so when the food came, it was an appetizer and 1 meal. Awful service. The Mgr made up for it by comping our first round of drinks and my husband's dinner (that was never put in), but wow. I feel like I was getting punked tonight.“

“This is hands down the best açaí bowl I’ve ever had. Welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and patient as I decided what we wanted. I chose to build my own but I was nervous about trying the dragon fruit base and was given the option to do half açaí and half dragon fruit. Dragon fruit is what I prefer now! My bf and I really enjoyed it. Two words.. EARLY BIRD! ;)

Vegetarian options: More fruit smoothies , juices , açaí bowls, but they do have chips and cookies, muffins and brownies.“

“We were in town for an event and Abuelo's was recommended. One of the best meals I have had and customer service was exceptional. The El Jefe margarita is top notch and our waitress, along with the bartender, did an amazing job with recommendations based on what we told them we preferred. Loved our dinner and would make a trip back!“

The food was amazing - there was a delay but we were in no rush and we truly appreciated that the manager came to our table to apologize for the delay - we hadn't really noticed as we were having such a lovely time. “Was in town watching dogs for someone, and saw that this place A) exists and B) has cheesesteaks. I will try a cheesesteak anywhere, even if gunfire is happening around me. Thankfully, this restaurant is in a no fire zone. But for this sandwich, it would be worth the risk and the added expense of kevlar. I kid you not, their “Awesome Philly Sub” is that and more. I can’t remember eating a better cheesesteak in 2 decades, and I’ve most certainly tried. Two thumbs up isn’t quite enough… I’ll have to borrow some extra thumbs from my enemies to add to the score. Highly recommended! And I’m a cheesesteak snob… they conquered my appetite and I’ll most definitely be back when I’m out this way again. If you live in Lakeland and love sandwiches and HAVEN’T TRIED THIS PLACE, you are missing out and are making a bald eagle cry. I can’t prove that second one, but it sounds legit.“

“Everything was very delicious and clean, we ordered tripleta, pastrami, steak and chicken sandwiches and they were all delicious, the lemonade and the papaya, nutella/ferrero and pina colada smoothies are something else, beautiful and all delicious, the papaya smoothie reminded me to autumn and Christmas, delicious, really 100% recommended, apart from the fact that the entire service was very fast and the owners are excellent and super friendly, we loved it and we will try the mofongos again.“

“We went in for beers and pub food and were so impressed! We began with the shareable brussel sprout appetizer. The char was perfect! Then we shared a Caesar salad. It was fresh and tasty. The biggest surprise was the brass tap classic pizza. Excellent quality! We loved the way the pepperonis were crispy. I thought the Italian sausage was some of the best I've ever had on a pizza and my husband and I were fighting over the crust. It was so good!“

“I called The restaurant before going to see if they were able to purée a meal For my son. My son was in the hospital a few weeks ago with pneumonia and other issues and is on a purée diet. I spoke to the general manager Nary And he assured me that they could take care of us. We came and had a wonderful dinner and was able to enjoy it with our son. Thank you so much!!!“
