“Stumbled upon little Greek fresh Grill tonight. This place is way better than the previous Gyro place that was here which was Souvlaki Fast. If you like Gyro sandwiches or planters this is definitely the place to go in the area because I’ve tried them all and over the years. All of them went downhill. This one has fresh food, great service, and the boss is super friendly. All the food was fresh and serve served hot. All the toppings were great as well and the tzatziki was also delicious. I highly recommend this place. They have a special on Tuesday and Thursday where if you buy a pita you get a free side. Try it you’ll like it. 😋“

The chef must have a high BTU and a narrowly focused flame because the wok hei was real and so real that the food stayed hot for so long. We ordered MILD for both and just as the server said, mild has some heat and it was so good.

Good vibe. Good service (the chef brought the dish to our table). Excellent food. We were so happy leaving there. The next time we are in the area (or even passing by), we are there. I wish we had Thai food like this in Tallahassee.“

This place isn’t just my wife’s favorite Venezuelan restaurant—it’s her comfort zone. Every time we walk in, it’s like someone opened a door to her childhood. The smells, the music, the way the staff greets her like she’s family—it’s beautiful to watch. And honestly, that alone would earn this place five stars.

But here’s the part that really matters to me: I’m not Venezuelan. I’m the cringo in the corner trying to pronounce “cachapa” without sounding like I’m ordering a Pokémon. And yet, they never make me feel out of place. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely excited to share their culture. They walk you through the menu like they’re inviting you into their home kitchen.

I’ve learned to love the food, sure—but I’ve also learned to love how this place makes people feel. Whether you grew up eating arepas or you’re just curious and hungry, they make you feel welcome. And that’s rare.

We tried to find places closer but have alwaya been disappointed. It's well worth the drive. However tonight we noticed they changed how the boneless spare ribs were made. “We had a curbside order that we waited over 20 minutes past the “ready” time, then they gave it to another customer, waited another 20 for it to be remade and when we got home all our sides were missing & some of the custom requests on the sandwiches were wrong. Called the store & spoke to manager, Ashley. She was so apologetic & promptly refunded our full amount, over $70! “I literally had to come and leave a review, not even by the time that I got home because the customer service is top-tier. I’m recently new to plantation and wanted some good Chinese food so upon finding China Sun, I was recommended by a friend and I’m going to try it. I will update the review once I try the food but just the customer service alone made me feel more than happy that I had ordered it. The pricing is also pretty fair. I would say for the portion size.

Update: food was amazing. Chicken wasn’t crispy but that’s the drive home with the condensation. So I’m not judging them for that. Sauce was sweet, could use more garlic but i am a 10+ garlic guy when cooking. Will be back soon!“

“I placed a lunch order here the other day (11/11, around 12:30pm) and when I came to pick it up, there was a lack of meat on my sandwich. I flagged down the manager, Lera (pronounced Lair-Ah), and asked to purchase another helping of meat, she refused to charge me and got it done in seconds. Lera was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to not only help me but every other customer in the store. She knew the regulars' names, was incredibly respectful and warm, and ran the back-of-the-house operations like a drill sergeant. I work in hospitality on the corporate/management side and I struggle to find GMs even half as strong as she is. 11/10 manager!!“
