“I usually don’t leave reviews and I will always speak to a manager in person if need be. But I would like to express my gratitude for this location tonight! The food was excellent, our waitress was over the top and was so nice, sweet and very attentive! Jennifer was her name- she deserves employee of the month! Thank you for the excellent experience! “This is a great restaurant with awesome staff and great food. I just wish it would state that some of the steaks are heavily peppered! But, I was recently at another Steakhouse and they did not specify it either!

“I CAME UP TO STUART FROM HALLANDALE BEACH TO VISIT MY DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY SATURDAY MAY 31 2025 I WAS IN CHARGE OF GETTING AN EARLY SUPPER FOR FOUR ADULTS AND THREE CHILDREN I GOT RIBS, PULLED PORK, BRISKET, AND SIDES WHICH WERE MAC AND CHEESE, MASHED POTATOES, COLLARDS, BAKED BEANS, COLE SLAW, AND POTATO SALAD WERE EXCELENT EVERYTHING I BOUGHT FROM MEAT TO SIDES WAS TOP OF THE LINE FOOD WHEN I COME BACK TO PALM CITY I WILL BE STOPPING BY FOR MORE BARBECUE AND MY DAUGHTER WHO KNOWS WHERE YOUR LOCATED AT IS PLANNING ON COMING BY AND THANK YOUR STAFF FOR BEING SO FRIENDLY“

“Great barbecue. My mom and I tried the spare ribs (the best), pulled pork, brisket, onion rings and the Brunswick stew special. They were all awesome. I don’t usually like battered onion rings but these were yummy. The owner was incredibly friendly. All in all an excellent experience and we have enough left over for another meal :)“

“Highly recommend High on the Hog for any catering needs! We hired them this past weekend for my husband’s 40th birthday to bring in some of his favorite BBQ dishes, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food! The portions were generous, the pricing was very reasonable, and the entire experience was seamless from start to finish. Scott was incredibly helpful from our first conversation all the way through delivery. He arrived right on time and even helped bring everything inside, which we truly appreciated. We will definitely be using High on the Hog again in the future!“
“I'm not usually a pulled pork fan, but after being offered a sample, I decided to give the pulled pork sandwich a try—and I'm so glad I did! It was honestly one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had. The flavor was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet or drenched in sauce, just delicious.
What really surprised me was how fresh the coleslaw tasted. It added the perfect crunch and freshness to the sandwich and took it to another level.
The customer service was excellent as well. Since it was my first visit, he took the time to let me sample a few items before ordering, which I really appreciated. You can tell he takes pride in both his food and his customers' experience.

“My family enjoyed our dinner however I’m leaving this review because of how awesome Carissa was. She was so friendly and made sure we had everything. She witnessed my daughter try to take my pickles and she brought her a little cup of them for her burger. She walked my daughter to the wall and allowed her to hang her artwork up. She truly went out of her way to make our experience unforgettable. Thank you! ❤“

“This place is outstanding. The staff is friendly and check on you the entire time. Never had to ask for refills and you get a complimentary ice cream cone at the end! The food was phenominal, legit the best BBQ restaurant around! Highly Highly recommend.“

“Amazing friendly and helpful staff. We went with my grandparents and accidentally left a purse and the manager grabbed it for us and made sure to keep it safe. They also have the best food and service, my husband and I love the outlaw ribeye. It’s the best steak we have had. Overall the food is amazing, and the server was very attentive and helpful.“

“First time here. Just became my favorite BBQ restaurant. Best restaurant ribs I’ve had. Brisket and pulled pork were great. Generous seasoning, didn’t even need sauce. Fries didn’t need ketchup. Collard greens were legit!“
