“Have to be honest, we haven't been to Outback in over 10 years, simply because we never had one close to where we lived. We received a gift card, & happened to be visiting Port St. Lucie, & decided we'd go to Outback for our 27th anniversary dinner. The food was prepared perfectly, our server (was also the bartender) was helpful, courteous, & stayed on top of everything, despite being busy behind the bar. Even after the party of over 20 people arrived, she was still attentive to our needs and ensured we were well provided for. “Food was great, waitress Cassie was friendly and just attentive enough. The Parmesan crusted chicken is always perfectly cooked and seasoned, and my husbands T-bone was cooked a perfect medium rare. It was perfectly seasoned too, just enough salt and pepper and both the chicken and steak melted in our mouths, very juicy. The Wild West shrimp appetizer is always great. My husband liked his salad and baked potato soup. My asparagus was overcooked and I didn’t care for the lobster and shrimp chowder as it was all shrimp (they were juicy though) and little flavor but everything else was delicious. This is a good LongHorn. We had a good time and enjoyed the food very much. We’ll be back.“
“Great steak, and sides. Aged porterhouse is the way to go. The onion strings are perfect. This is the best steak restaurant in Florida. The aged steak is comparable to Peter Lugers, except they are very nice here, unlike the rude Peter Lugers staff. The owner used to work there and has the best steaks and sauce. This is a place to celebrate.“
