My husband loves prime rib, so we chose 88 Keys, a small venue just south of the bridge in Punta Gorda. I'm glad we did, as he said the prime rib there was one of the best he had ever eaten. Note, it's a special, only available on Thursday night when we visited. I took a chance on the bouillabaisse, wary because so often it is served over-cooked. This was an outstanding bouillabaisse! We love 88 Keys when we want to dine. The restaurant has an elegant presentation - even in the bar area. However. It is not stuffy. Diners are from all walks in life and of varied attire. A lovely place to spend the evening.Wonderful bar with friendly bartenders. Great place to go for drinks and an appetizer too. The menu is not extensive, but it covers all the bases - soup to nuts.
