“On Sept 11th my husband & I enjoyed a delightful and most delicious meal. It was our anniversary and the staff made it even more special. The only downside is when we paid the bill we were not told that the tip would be POS entered separately from our account. My husband checked our account and he thought the tip had not been given. So he made a trip to Carmelo's to ask about why and to correct. He was told the tip was done separately - think this should be told to their guests. Thank you for a lovely evening and amazing food.“

“Went back to Brooklyn Joe's today. Had the sausage with onions and peppers. It did have red sauce and white American cheese on it. I'm sure you could have provolone or something different if you choose to , but the sandwich was very good. The sausage had a good fresh flavor with a nice spice to it. Plus the pizza by the slice is good. I noticed that older people were seated eating plus young kids coming in to eat. Also workers coming in for lunch. The food is good and the place has a good character about it. The employees have a good personality and all seem to be welcome. Thanks“

“I don't leave reviews often, but Dough Bar Restaurant deserves one. It's our go-to spot when we're in the mood for pizza. On our first visit, there was a big party on the patio, but my partner and I were treated like the only table in the place. Service was smooth, well-paced, and the pizza was fresh and full of flavor. Our most recent visit sealed the deal again. We sat at the bar and had excellent service from Ang and Reina, with Ari greeting us at the door. Everyone we've encountered here, including the young male host, the chefs, have been kind, helpful, and clearly part of a team that supports each other. That kind of environment shows. The parmesan fries were perfect, and the pizza was just as good as we remembered. The food is always consistent, and the cooks deserve just as much credit as the front of house. The Hawaiian is my personal favorite. Pineapple on pizza might not be for everyone, but in Punta Gorda, once a pineapple capital, it fits! Dough Bar delivers every time. Great Food. Great Service. “I enjoyed my experience. Waitress "Sue" was on the ball .very attentive. Food TASTED DELICIOUS. I been back 2x after first visit , realize maybe I was in a dream world the first time I went. The second and third time wasn't so great. What's the building needs to upgrade the bathrooms really need work. The timer service from time of ordering wasn't so great the second and third time. Even had to ask for a refill for my cup of coffee. Probably because I didn't have my original waitress from the first time.“
