“On Sept 11th my husband & I enjoyed a delightful and most delicious meal. It was our anniversary and the staff made it even more special. The only downside is when we paid the bill we were not told that the tip would be POS entered separately from our account. My husband checked our account and he thought the tip had not been given. So he made a trip to Carmelo's to ask about why and to correct. He was told the tip was done separately - think this should be told to their guests. Thank you for a lovely evening and amazing food.“

“Stopped in to Watson’s for National Ice Cream Day, they did not disappoint! So many flavors to choose from, they all sounded amazing. They have a large variety of toppings, cups sones, eaffle bowls, brownies, the combinations feel endless. The scoops are huge for the price. They were also having a 'Stanley' promotion, bring in your big cup and fill it for 1 price.
The OneBlood bus was in the lot and a 'Stanley' cup was your gift for donating. There was also a food truck.
We chatted with the owner while enjoying our scoops, turns out they have food trucks regularly. They also hold community events like blood donations and dog adoptions.
If you want not only great ice cream but also to frequent a shop that does good for their community, stop by Watson’s. Ask to have them add your dog's picture to their wall.“

“We called with a party of 10 and got a recording stating that reservations were not taken. We arrived and were told that there were no tables available and that we should have made reservations. We explained that we tried to and showed the Hostess the Website and number we called. We asked to speak with the Manager to make him aware of the website. Travis introduced himself and seated us temporarily outside( it was not the best of Florida weather this night) and had staff circle heaters around our table and brought us complimentary appetizers until they could accommodate all of us. Travis gave us his personal cell # and in our opinion went above and beyond to make this a Special Evening for all of us. This is not our first time here, but it was with such a large group. Justina was our Server and is Personality Plus The food is always excellent“

“When my sister and I were down from Sarasota this past weekend visiting my daughter and son-in-law, they treated us to The Perfect Caper. First impression: quiet elegance and a bit of sticker shock. Final impression: I’m still waking up thinking about that meal three days later. Not a restaurant, a dining experience!\n\nOur server, Eric, set the stage. He has perfected his profession, from giving us just the amount of help each wanted in making our choices, to serving each course at the perfect spacing for our dining preference, to being always there when we wanted something without ever hovering or being intrusive. It was as if we were the only table he was serving, which we definitely were not.\n\nAt 79, I have had to alter my eating habits with smaller portions and a bit less spice. With Eric’s help and hints, I chose 3 Pan Seared Scallops (no lemon), and a side of the Brussels Bacon. This turned out to be the perfect amount to leave me just enough room to enjoy one of the scrumptious desserts. The large scallops were pillowy puffs of perfection in a luscious brown butter sauce. I can still remember that first bite. As that silky morsel almost melted in my mouth, I was in love! The Brussels Bacon was the ideal accompaniment, grated and served in a tasty sauce, with bacon crumbles on top. No need to sacrifice flavor for any age limitations here, my taste buds felt totally pampered.\n\nThe others with me had similar positive comments about their Penne Sausagnaise, Filet, and Moroccan Spiced Lamb. We had started off with appetizers of pate and focaccia, both very good. Unlike some upscale restaurants, there was no hesitation at setting four appetizer plates to share the two appetizers. Eric’s goal was to provide OUR perfect dining experience, and he fully succeeded. We all went on to try a different dessert, and my Banana Pudding Tart was exceptional. My sister, daughter, and son-in-law, who know my eating habits well, all sat with dropped jaws as I finished the last bite.\n\nThis is the meal I have most enjoyed since I moved to Florida almost 30 years ago. I must give thanks to Eric for making this such a memorable experience, and to Chef Jeanie for giving us the opportunity to taste the wonderful fruits of her creative endeavors. I never expected this outside of New York. If our dining experience was typical rather than the exception, this restaurant should have Michelin stars!“

“Honestly I love this place but it can be very frustrating waiting for food sometimes an hour or more. Note the food is always near flawless. Also it would be great if they’d occasionally have some brown ales. Not everyone wants an ipa and I can’t imagine 5 ciders are always necessary.“

“Went to Burg’r Bar about 5 weeks ago before having shoulder surgery. We loved it. Best burger and fries I’ve had in Florida. We sat outside and our server was great!!! Why do people write about how great it was and then give it 4 stars instead of 5??? I’m in Punta Gorda today (3/18/22) and as soon as I get done with my final post op appointment, we’re headed to the Burg’r Bar again!!! YUM!!!“

“I always had a great experience food was always good whether we ate in or did take out. but tonight was different ....we did take out the wings were very small and overcooked 20 wings and you only get one little small - very good tasting I might add- container of blue cheese so you ask for another one and they charge you $1. 😵💫wish we would have ate in, cuz the wings would have definitely been sent back. the french fries were overcooked too they would have went back also.😥“

“We tried Elena's yesterday while visiting Punta Gorda. We really liked our experience. Our waitress was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Service was fast, almost too fast in that our meal arrived before we finished our salad and soup. The food was fresh and tasted great. I personally didn't care for the gravy (with the chicken dinner), but it was okay. Everything else was great. Portion sizes are large. Prices are very, very good. Their menu is diverse, and I'd love to visit again to try some of their other offerings. Great, cozy ambiance feel to the place as well.“

“The loaded guacamole is very good! Mango Sunrise was super tasty and made well both times! Will definitely skip the dessert next time! Even though the pineapple cheesecake was gf&great;paying $10 for a lil slice is kinda crazy! The views and atmosphere were great and I'll definitely be back! Very clean bathrooms are a nice bonus!“
