“James Joyce hands down is the best pub in Tampa. It's a given that the food and service is great and I'm sure that would be a takeaway for anyone reading these other reviews. It's the JJ staff that requires a standing ovation. I've never met such personable, caring, funny & fun staff at any establishment I've ever been and this has turned me into a regular. The perks of being a regular such as the drinking team, the punch cards, and rewards points are great. Nick, Chris, Cady, Sadie, Izzy, Rene, Danny, Justin, Captain Kirk, the kitchen staff, as well as others I may be forgetting are all great people and this place sure knows how to pick their staff so much so this pub is like a family and the owners are great people as well. James Joyce has the best Guinness I've had, the best wings & other dishes, as well as phenomenal entertainment. I would highly suggest stopping in on a Monday or Friday evening to grab dinner, a drink or 5, & listening to Captain Kirk the live entertainment. Don't hesitate to try some of the best wings you'll ever have, a reuben, prime rib sandwich, etc. one of the 50 beers on tap, a great selection of liquors, perfectly poured mixed drinks, and an atmosphere to keep you coming back I promise you wont be disappointed“
“We are visiting from out of town!And drove around Brandon for an hour looking for a place to eat dinner where we could take our dog.We walked into your place and immediately greeted by Sonia who made our afternoon perfect! Your outside sitting is great and Sonia was wonderful!Food was amazing and we can’t wait to come back and visit again.“

“Great place, 2 plastic tip dart boards, 2 different golden tee golf games, fair prices. They need to enforce their no smoking policy though to cover vapes. Too many vape pens are not told to go outside while all the cigarette smokers abide by their no smoking policy..Miller Lite or Coors 16 oz cans is the best deal here at $3.75. They should consider offering $3 16oz PBRS, like many other bars in the area. They would still profit more from each can compared to the miller coors products.This may or may not be an official Tampa Bay Bucs bar for game day and may or my not be an official Tampa Lightning game day bar! But the people here are great Tampa fans.“
“My last experience at this establishment was not pleasant. being a biker with other bikers on this night we parked where other bikes have parked before. An employee said we were not allowed to park there would you park over across the way so we did. Now we have not even got off our bikes before another employee says oh I'm sorry you can't park here tonight I have a party of 14 here. We were not blocking a pathway to the area he was referring to and I had invited 10 of my friends which made that a party of 10. Needless to say now they have directed us to go park in the back somewhere. So I asked where the bike parking was. These two guys said they did not know. in my opinion this business is no longer biker friendly and we will not be going back.“

“What an experience! It was our first time. The food was really good. I had the Boneless Basket and a 12" in Pizza. I always pass by and today was the day that I decided to come and try it out! Our server Hailey was amazing and lovely. She has an amazing attitude and made the atmosphere great! Would come back!“

“I got a corned beef and cabbage and an order of onion rings to go. Hands down, most likely the BEST corned beef I have ever had. Nice and tender. Mashed potatoes and onion rings were delicious. “This is a chill spot. I was able to watch the game, have a drink, and chill. The music was great (they do have a juke box), my drink was good, the atmosphere and people were both good.They have one pool table, but we weren't able to play.The establishment was clean and well taken care of. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot.It was a nice little drive over there, but I'd go back.“
