“The young woman helping serve us was helpful and courteous. I will say though that BR has become very expensive, the scoop sizes are smaller and the quality has gone down.Its almost soft serve at this point and there were ice chunks in the ice cream indicating it's been refrozen after melting.I wasn't impressed, but it was a beautiful day and Ice cream was what I wanted. It hit the spot despite the small portion and the product not being up to the BR standard I expected.If it wasn't for the staff, id have given the experience 3 stars. But the staff was great so 4 ?“

“I want to start by saying we love this place! My husband and I come here once a week for coffee and breakfast! BUT I will say the owners are not personable or very talkative at all. Sometimes they seem almost bothered or feel as you’re being rushed. The girls who work here are super sweet but again they seem to rush you. The layout of having a line of people order and then back track to get your food is odd. It just causes congestion! Again, we love the food but some of the staff just make it to where I don’t want to come anymore. The whole area was so excited for a local breakfast place but I just expected nicer staff I guess. I will say MaKayla (not owner) is always sweet and a girl she typically works dirty blonde hair and usually a ponytail is SO sweet as well!“

“One of my guilty pleasures is ice cream on Sunday evening. I go the same place, pretty much at the same time every week and my favorite ice cream server (Kayden) prepares my Pecan Prelean Twirl with extra pecans exactly the way I like it. “Augie Conde and I stopped at THE CITRUS PLACE on our trip home from St Petersburg last week. It's a really cool old school Florida souvenir shop and citrus market. It's located on route 301 just off of the first exit from the southbound side of the Sunshine Skyway bridge. It's owned by Trish and Carole. They were so kind and generous sharing some wonderful items and memories with us. We bought some vintage Florida souvenirs and some old citrus packing bags. We also bought tropical citrus jelly and marmalade. We'll be bringing the vintage items to the next FLORIDIANA FEST that will be held February 20-21 at the Sarasota Fairgrounds Potter Building. We're looking forward to seeing you there ! We'll definitely be back soon !“

“I went for a little date with my 6 month old and love it! The service was great. I had the caprese focaccia and whole milk matcha. Everything was good and ingredients are so fresh. Also tasted the gelatos and all the flavors are so so good !“
