“EXCEPTIONAL!!! WOW…. Massimo’s Exceeded our Expectations!!! We were greeted by the beautiful smile of our server Jennifer, who welcomed us in & shared with us the very interesting history of Massimo’s. She shared with us the night’s specials & showed us patience as we asked an array of questions. I have severe food allergies so I spoke with Jennifer about my concerns and the next thing I knew Massimo himself,( the owner & the chef) came to our table to discuss the many options I had where he could accommodate my allergies. All of us at the table were sooo very impressed that during a busy evening Massimo took the time to speak with me personally to discuss creating a meal for me. Dinner was served with a gorgeous presentation & Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! Chef Massimo made me the Halibut Special with a flavorful garlic sauce, side of sauted vegetables as well as a delightful pasta with red sauce. All four of usdevoured our incredible meals with sheer delight. Jennifer did not miss a beat and kept a close eye on us, keeping our wine & water glasses filled, checking to see how we were doing and if we needed anything at all. “One of my favorite places to eat. Food is always stellar as is the service. I gave the Atmosphere four stars because the noise level is higher than I prefer. This is a younger person mecca although we older folks love it too. If you haven't tried Noble Crust, may I suggest you try it. Their Sunday brunch is special also,“
“Been looking for another Italian Restaurant to go to after my favorite closed down. Finally found a place I can't wait to go back to. My meal was outstanding. Everyone else loved theirs also. I'm no Tiramisu connoisseur, but it was certainly one of the best I've had. Our server was on point and extremely polite and friendly smile the whole time. “The place needs MORE staff!Got there at 7:30 PM.Finally was able to order our food at 8:00 and the drinks did not arrive until 8:10.....40 minutes after we sat down.Yes, we had a party of 10 people but that is not an excuse for the food to arrive until 9:15 (we had a reservation for 7:30).This is not AT ALL a knock on our waiter. The poor guy was running around like crazy and was serving way more tables that he should have. Also notice that he had to mix his own drinks.To me, starting to eat at 1 hr 45 minutes after the reservation time is not acceptable.All gripes aside, the food was REALLY excellent but I do not think I'm coming back until they address their staffing.“

My wife ordered the rigatoni with meatballs. “Tried a couple places when I moved over here to Palm Harbor. If you love NY style pizza Leonardos is hands down the best in the area. SO much flavor in every bite, sauce has a great taste, cheese is melted perfectly, crust is always cooked well and not burnt. Unless you want it to be, they usually ask if you'd like to leave it a little longer.Deaf owned and operated, customer service is always a 10/10. Never have issues ordering, always end up chatting regardless.My usual is just 2 slices and a drink for $7 around lunch, can't beat that price in todays market. Do yourself a favor and try Leonardos.“

The place is the same as the pho restaurant that was there previously and it's a little tight inside but the place is nicely appointed. Plus, they've added a nice outside area that looks quaint and comfortable. The food was very good. My lobster bisque could've had a little more lobster but I bet everyone says that. “I've lived in Tampa for the past 25 years and have been in the Dunedin area so many times since moving down from Long Island NY, but didn't know about this place until recently. The original Umberto's is in New Hyde Park, Long Island NY, which is 10 minutes from where I grew up. One of the brothers moved to Dunedin back in the early 70's and opened this restaurant. The current owners since 1986 told me that they use the same recipes for pizza and most other dishes.Anyway.... my wife and I go over that way frequently and often get pizza to bring back home. Need to heat up some slices at the house, but it's still some of the best pizza I've found in the Tampa Bay area since moving here. Excellent ratio of sauce and cheese with high quality ingredients. So many places say NY style pizza, but the owners are not even from the NY Tri-state area and probably have never even tasted real NY pizza. They usually put so much cheese that it's like chewing bubble gum until your jaw hurts. Real NY pizza is thiner and lighter on the sauce and cheese. You gotta be able to do "The Fold".Tried the Sicilian today and it was outstanding! I highly recommend this place. Be sure to check it out if you're in the area. You'll be glad ya did.“
