Fresh-Mex & Co. is a favorite Mexican place with super fresh ingredients and the best churros in town. The food is great, fairly priced, and very kids friendly. The restaurant is super clean with very nice staff. The salsa was great with good flavor, the chimichanga was a big portion, and the birria-dills (birria quesadillas) were so so good. The atmosphere is ambient and beautiful, with generous portion sizes and a star cilantro lime sauce. Food comes out quickly. The waiters and waitresses are always happy to help and seem to enjoy their jobs. It is a perfect mix between TexMex but still very authentic with spices, tortillas, and birria. The queso is made from real cheese. Popular menu items include the life bowl, queso fundido with chorizo, carne asada taco, ribeye, Birriadilla with consume, and the California burrito with Chicken and extra queso on the side. Guests can order from a QR code menu or at the front. They also do trivia on Monday or Tuesday nights. This restaurant is a gem.
