“Adorable little place that we just happened to drive by. We are huge frog lovers, so we had to stop in for breakfast. Food was delicious, highly recommend their waffles, and the decorations were incredible. So. Many. Frogs!! They also have a well-priced little shop with t-shirts and hats, so I picked up a cute visor. Thank you Frog Pond for making our morning!“
“The first time we ate at The Frog Pond we knew we would be back as regulars. Their homemade strawberry jam is fantastic - definitely ask for a side of that with your toast! The breakfast sausage is amazing as is their Eggs in a Pan dish. It’s by far my favorite thing on the menu. The staff and manager, Josh, are also fantastic. Always great service and they were so wonderful with our 2 year old every time we came in.“
“Great food, great service. But the whole vibe comes off as a diner. Bear tables scattered around and uninspired room. However on a quiet traffic day sitting outside is a good option. I had the spicy Mexican chicken sandwich with fries. My friend had the French toast fingers with fruit. Both dishes were excellent! This service was spot on. This only loses a star because of the sterile atmosphere.“
“This eatery is one of the most pleasant diners you could ever visit. Great homemade soups, salads, sandwiches and more.Staff are pleasant and professional. Everything is done right. Quiet, pleasant, homey diner ambience, but not old and stuffy.Go see for yourself. 10 stars!“
“Best breakfast place ever! The sweetest and best looking crew! Oh, and the food is outstanding along with the service!! They treat you like family! Make sure you tip them well because they really make sure you are taken care of! Everything is good!! Love them!! John S.“
“Great spot in downtown Gulfport. This entire area gives me a bit of a Key West vibe. We sat outside and watch the good people of Gulfport walk their dogs. Full menu all day. Most of us had breakfast and all of us were happy with our choices.“
“Andrew greeted us on arrival and Charlotte did a fabulous job serving us. We had the turkey avocado melt and cheeseburger. Both were very good! As a bonus it was Free Pie Wednesday! So we took a couple slices of pie to go. Will definitely visit again. Five Stars!“
“Our long-awaited visit to our favorite Waffle House on Treasure Island, St. Pete, Florida coincided with The Kind Mouse Productions, Inc. Waffle House Challenge day, and it was an absolute blast! The place was buzzing with energy, and the waffles were, as always, perfect - fluffy, golden, and delicious. It's moments like these that remind us why this spot holds a special place in our hearts. Can't wait for our next visit!Warm waffle wishes,Marisa Balletti-Lavoie“
“Delicious Breakfast Kimmie Ds is not iHop or Denny's. Nor does it try to be. Located off 49th Street in the industrial section of town. One would expect a greasy spoon dirty nasty place. Not so. I found it fresh clean and staffed by the owner who commented she had been here 30 plus years. It has, my only regret is I never gave it a chance. Nice little breakfast / lunch spot.“
“If you're looking for a delicious and unique dish in St. Petersburg, FL, look no further than the Norwegian salmon and egg crepe at the Wooden Rooster. This exceptional dish combines the delicate flavors of smoked salmon and fluffy eggs inside a light and savory crepe. The salmon is perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of smokiness to complement the rich, buttery flavor of the eggs. The crepe itself is expertly crafted, with a tender texture and just enough thickness to hold the filling without overwhelming it. What sets this dish apart, however, is the creative twist on traditional Scandinavian flavors. The crepe is topped with a generous dollop of tangy crème fraîche and a sprinkle of fresh dill, which adds a bright, herbaceous note to the dish. The crepe is also served with a side of pickled cucumbers and red onions, which provide a refreshing contrast to the richness of the salmon and eggs. The Wooden Rooster is known for its commitment to locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients, and this dish is no exception. The salmon is sourced from a nearby fishery, and the crepe is made with organic, non-GMO flour. The result is a dish that not only tastes amazing but also supports local farmers and fishermen. Overall, if you're in the St. Petersburg area and looking for a standout dish, the Norwegian salmon and egg crepe at the Wooden Rooster is a must-try. With its expertly balanced flavors and commitment to sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients, it's a dish that truly stands out from the crowd.“
“They seated us happily within an hour of closing! Treated us so kindly and everything was so good. I'm glad we decided to come in- an psychotic woman was screaming for us not to calling the place terrible names- she was absolutely wrong! Will be returning once I come back to Florida.“
“GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE!!We came here for a late breakfast; the Pancakes were super fluffy, and flavored nicely with vanilla. I also ordered “Poseidon’s Omelette” which was amazing as well. Our server, Dana- has some of the best customer service skills I have experienced in any hospitality/restaurant establishment. She checked in with our table numerous times, refilled our drinks and checked in ensuring that our experience was the best it could possibly be.11/10 recommend— all visitors to the area must stop here (AND ASK FOR DANA!!)Vegetarian options: Most food has no meat, easy to remove and make all menu items vegetarian.“
