So don't quote me on this, but I think Gayle's is now closed. I was just in SPB, and noticed it no longer looked open. This is a shame, as it was on my "places to try for a grouper sandwich" list. If it turns out I'm wrong, I will update, as I'll be back in a month, But this is a place I used to go with my uncle, ether before or after fishing at Blind Pass (behind Woody's). Their HUGE $10 breakfast burrito that the server said was ALOT of food, looked was smaller than a cheap hotdog you buy at a kids ball game. I would have needed to eat all four of our meals to get full. Maybe it was because of spring break but it wasnt busy at all so idk. If you don't want to leave hungry, not even kidding, order AT LEAST two meals. If you eat even moderately heavy, then easily three smh. Other than that breakfast food tastes like breakfast food ?‍♂️

Super cute, older diner. The service was great, and the food was good too. You truly can’t find service like this anymore in 2022- it’s just too rare in a time when money is all that matters. The best part aside from service was how fast the food came out. Didn’t take 10 minutes. Planning to go back tomorrow & anytime I’m in St Pete.
