Love the freestanding building and open concept with atunning views of the beach. My wife and I went, sat bar side and enjoyed a few drinks watching the sun set. The drinks were delicious. We will def return for another romantic evening.
Rum runners has been updated and many of the pictures are from the old building! This is the hotel restaurant for the property behind, it is open to the public and has amazing views as well as trendy garage doors that open on the beach side.

Rum Runners is an amazing restaurant at the resort, with a newly remodeled and upscale atmosphere. The ambiance is inviting, with open garage doors that make guests feel like they are right on the sand. The view of the beach is spectacular, and the cool breeze off the gulf feels good. The service is awesome, with servers who do an amazing job. The food and drinks are delicious. Specific meals include a grouper sandwich and tacos. The piña colada was off the charts. The drinks are reasonably priced. The huge bar faces the beach with three large screen TVs, just enough to keep tuned into sports without feeling like a sports bar. There is live music. However, the servers and bartenders are all dressed in long sleeve and long pants in black, which is brutal in hot conditions. Some delays with the kitchen occurred, but the hostess and servers accommodated all needs. The food is 10 out of 10. This is the most upscale beach bar on the beach, with beautiful sunset views.
