“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

“This is an incredible place to visit in St Petes Beach! Beer is also cold and refreshing, the Strombol is 5 Stars, and the owners and staff are world class. I plan my vacation to visit here, and end up staying for the nearby beach!“

“We ate here 2 nights while staying on the beach this week. The hummus and flatbread along with their house salad for a starter was sooo good. The coconut shrimp was good and the coconut curry snapper was the best fish I have ever tasted and I grew up in Florida. The dish is not sweet and the flavor is amazing along with fish cooked perfect. Don’t hesitate to eat here it was our best meal when in St Pete Beach. Thanks Snappers we will be back!“

“Always enjoy this place when we come to Florida. The clam chowder is so good ! The crab cakes were flaky and delicious, the langostino lobster pasta dish is a must. Everything here is 5 stars but at a 2 star price! Server was also very kind“

“Nice restaurant by the sea. We ate on the terrace (it was sports day on TV so perhaps it was a little too loud for us!). We took seafood dishes with shrimp...the ones with coconut were excellent. Average sweet. Very good side dishes.

“Stopped in for a light dinner last night and was so pleasantly surprised! I started with a cup of shrimp bisque, which was packed with flavor. Then some polenta and shrimp, beautifully presented and even better tasting. I paired everything with a glass of Chardonnay, which rounded out the meal wonderfully. “We were disappointed Monday...... they were out of coconut shrimp, the fish special, and their normal French fries. Although we mentioned how bad the French fries were to the waitress, no substitute was offered. We also had to stop another waitress to get drink refills. I emailed the restaurant, but no response. The wharf is our go-to restaurant at St Pete Beach..... the fried shrimp and fish basket were very good, but we were surprised at the food they were out of at 6:30 at night.“

“First off I don't know how anyone can give the place less than 5 stars. The waitress was in a fantastic mood and very helpful when suggesting the appetizers and local favorites. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Honestly the best lobster mac and cheese i have ever eaten. My wife had the meat loaf and is usually negative about how it presented and taste however she couldn't stop eating it.

“We had the Seafood Broiled platter; Stuffed Flounder and Gyro platter. This was the best food we’ve had while in St. Pete! Our server, Lauren was wonderful! The Manager works with the wait staff to ensure everyone gets seated immediately. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. “Rumfish Grill 8-24-24 The restaurant opens at 5pm so we made reservations the day before for the first seating at 5pm. We arrived about 4:25pm and went to the bar for a drink before dinner. Four things right up front to remember that we did not know but learned fast. First you must pay $10.00 to park to go into the restaurant or bar unless you are staying there. 2nd Parking, restaurant, and bar ONLY take credit cards but can take tips in cash. 3rd this restaurant is not for everyone as it has a very limited menu and it’s pricey. 4th if you make reservations make sure you ask for a table at the aquarium as these tables go first. The restaurant opens at 5pm and the bar is open from 11am to 12am. The Bar only has a very small menu so if you want dinner you have to go to the restaurant where the 33,500-gallon aquarium is located. We got seated at 5pm and Audrey took our drink order and left menus for us to look over. When she came back, we asked her if we could move to a table as we asked for that when we first arrived. She had seated us at a ½ booth with cracked bench seat and ½ table. That was too uncomfortable for the wife. We moved to a table and proceeded to order our food. I ordered the Grilled Rib Eye medium well with Yukon Whipped Potato’s. The wife ordered the Angus Filet Mignon medium well with Yukon Whipped Potato’s. Our orders also came with a couple spears of asparagus on top of the potatoes. My dad ordered the kids Chicken Tenders, Fries, and a Salad as he could not find anything on the adult menu he liked. It took a while for our food to come out, so they brought us 3 rolls to hold us over. Once our food got delivered my Rib Eye looked perfect and tasted fantastic it was done just perfect. My potatoes were good, but they were warm not hot but not cold enough to send back. My wife’s Filet Mignon was done perfectly and tasted fantastic, but her potatoes were just warm. The asparagus was cold and hard. My wife had to ask another server to fill her drink up as we have not seen Audrey in a while. She did stop by much later to see if we needed anything. I thought for an upscale restaurant with higher prices the service would be better and the food a lot hotter. The steaks were done perfectly and tasted great too bad they could not pull that off for the rest of the meal. By the way my dad’s Chicken Tenders and Fries were very good, and everything was hot. With the large 33,500-gallon aquarium which was absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing to watch they really have a niche to draw people in.
