“This place is sugar heaven- I’m so cereal about it!
All your cereal fantasies have turned real at the Cereal Bar. It’s such a fun concept- the place is reminiscent of old school cereal boxes/ cartoons and completely doesn’t match its location in downtown St. Pete (which is a good thing).
They handmake all their ice creams in the shop, and you can tell. The fun part of this place is that along with your ice cream, you can choose to mix in any cereal- literally I swear they have mostly any you can think of.
You can also mix in pop tarts- I chose this route and did pop tart mix in with my espresso ice cream and let me tell you this is what ice cream should be. The pop tarts gave it such a nice and satisfying texture, and the espresso ice cream was sooo good, again you could tell it was really homemade.
The owner was working behind the bar and was really friendly and helpful. Yes, these desserts can get super sweet when you have ice cream, a sugary mix in as well as a topping like hot fudge, sprinkles or more. But if you love to overload on sugary goodness, then this is the place for you.“

“I worked with La Diperie to cater an event I put together and the experience was superb! The team was so easy to work with, and the pricing was more than reasonable for the quality. Peter came on-site before the event to check out the space and set up his spot so that the day of the event ran smoothly. The ice cream (even had a vegan option!), dips, and donuts were delicious. “Vegetarian options: Very good selection of vegetarian options and a few vegan options too. Highly recommend for anyone who likes ice cream and is a vegetarian.
Dietary restrictions: Well labelled so people know what people can and can’t eat.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and the atmosphere and the look of the shop will entertain children. I know - I am one .
Wheelchair accessibility: Quite wide doorway with small ramp to help wheelchairs get into the shop easily. Tables that people with wheelchairs can get into easily“

“This place is a hidden chocolate lovers dream! The staff was genuinely friendly, and got to meet the chocolatier making the Dubai bars. She said she makes almost all the chocolates there. I love chocolate and wasn’t expecting anything too exciting with my chocolate and mm covered rice crispy treat but omg. That chocolate was PERFECTLY tempered and smoooooth as silk. This is def not just melted down chocolate chips. Someone knows what they’re doing and it’s clear there’s years of experience going on. Oh. And SIXTEEN flavor of old fashion fruit slice candies. Try the chocolate covered bacon. Just do it!“

Sierra was so friendly, patient and professional, I really hope her manager sees this and give her a free ice cream or something to acknowledge her work ethic and customer service. “Basking Robbins 31flavors ice cream fans endured for decades. Today I found a whole new level of BR with Wild n Reckless Shetbet with blue raspberries, green apple and fruit punch flavors. Awesome. The little cakes are uniquely decorated like the one for 1-2 people either a small guitar. The larger ones serve 6-8. What a great idea to put serving sizes on the cakes.
They have a drive thru but I am glad that I dined in to see the incredible cakes

“We were in the area for spring training baseball and came to John’s Pass on the recommendation of a local friend. We had just finished eating dinner on the dock at Caddy’s and came looking for ice cream… and this place did not disappoint! We love supporting local and independent ice cream places like this especially when the product is so good. I got a waffle cone with Captain Butterscotch and my wife got one of their chocolate ice creams - both were very good. And it’s just fun to eat ice cream on the boardwalk! Definitely recommend!“

“Went in and it was empty, however it was pretty cold, not ice cream weather. The staff was nice. The manager was training new employees. She had a new employee help me. The experience was a little awkward but understandable. My brownie sundae was very good. If you are a peanut butter and chocolate lover, the chocolate peanut butter ice cream is amazing. The sundae was a bit expensive at around $10 but they do accept debit and credit cards now. Will be going back.“

Uncle Andy’s had such great ice cream in such a fun atmosphere that we just had to come back almost once a day during our stay! This place is such a hidden gem in The Don and cannot be missed while you are visiting!Also, the staff are so lighthearted and funny! They just add to the already fun experience.“

“I am giving this 5 stars because of the effort of the staff that provided the best service I've had in a long time...specifically Emily at St. Pete Beach was phenomenal - fast, friendly, and on top of everything! I was a little surprised to see she wasn't a manager with how she took charge of an issue (corporate issue) with a smile and true desire to help. She deserves a promotion.Otherwise, the quality of the ice cream we ordered was very good, although they do not carry more than about 15 flavors at a time, and the app/site is in dire need of an update to reflect the flavors they actually have. The store was clean, despite being across the street from the beach. And just like everywhere else, they are very understaffed, but the team kept it together the best they could. I'd definitely go back when I'm in the area.“
