Ice Cream Shops near Saint Petersburg Beach

“I’m from New York and have been coming to St. Pete for vacation for the past 5 years. During that time, I used to visit this Baskin-Robbins location quite often, but I had some frustrating experiences in the past.

Many times when I went around 7 PM, I was told they were already closed, which felt strange because most Baskin-Robbins locations stay open later. On top of that, whenever I tried to order a milkshake during the day, I was often told they didn’t have it available or that the machine wasn’t working. After dealing with this multiple times, I eventually stopped going there.

However, I recently heard there is new management, and things seem to have improved. The staff are now very friendly and welcoming, which really makes a difference. I also noticed they sell cakes now, which is a nice addition.

Hoping the service continues to stay consistent—I’d love to start visiting again during my trips!“

Isabella and the employees were very helpful explaining different options. We felt very welcome and sat in front of the window while we enjoyed our ice cream. “This place is a hidden chocolate lovers dream! The staff was genuinely friendly, and got to meet the chocolatier making the Dubai bars. She said she makes almost all the chocolates there. I love chocolate and wasn’t expecting anything too exciting with my chocolate and mm covered rice crispy treat but omg. That chocolate was PERFECTLY tempered and smoooooth as silk. This is def not just melted down chocolate chips. Someone knows what they’re doing and it’s clear there’s years of experience going on. Oh. And SIXTEEN flavor of old fashion fruit slice candies. Try the chocolate covered bacon. Just do it!“

They were extra patient with my children and made sure we didn’t feel rushed while they changed their mind flavor over flavor over flavor before my littles landed on the “Unicorn”. In case you’re curious, my littles coined it the best ice cream they’ve ever had in the whole world, and we travel a lot with them, so that should pack some substance!

While we were sitting, our chatterboxes rattled off some new inventions and suggestions of flavors that would leave your taste buds confused, and excited… at the same time, but instead of being annoyed, agitated or flat out done, the crew remained captivated by what they had to say and made my littles feel like the most important culinary inventors to ever walk in.
