Best Dive Bar in St pete! But it's hard to classify it as a dive bar anymore. They really cleaned up since the last time I was there. But still the cheapest strongest drinks in town! Not to mention the servers are great!
Quintessential dive bar. Haze of smoke and whiff of stale beer upon entrance. Draft section and liquor rail that leans toward the old tried and true with just a smattering of the new dangled boogie juice. Full blend of clientele including a few that have the look that lets you know they've lived some things that aren't to be talked about. At least not for a few more drinks. In two visits with the same bartender working, we were disappointed. He clearly preferred chatting with his friends and did the minimal amount of effort possible for other customers. He had an opportunity to engage us as customers and even keep us there longer, but was clearly in a rush to get back to chatting with his buddies after taking our cash.
