“I had a traditional breakfast. My daughter had a Philly steak sandwich. Both were pretty good, coffee was pretty strong but some people like it that way. So after dropping my daughter at the airport I came back for ice cream because they have an ice cream counter that probably contains 60 or 70 different ice creams. So I ordered the rocky road. It was extremely hard for the young lady to dip it, when she handed it to me I immediately started to eat it. Then I walked up to the counter to pay for it. $5.25 for one scoop ice cream cone. I just paid for it and left because I'd already started to eat it. My fault. That won't happen again. That price is absolutely ridiculous. The rest of the pricing on the food wasn't bad. Rhonda did a lovely job taking care of us and serving us.”

“We have been customers of Carrabba’s for over 25 years, but unfortunately, the lasagna at the Sanford location has changed. Our recent order arrived with almost no pasta, mostly cheese and sauce. The manager kindly replaced it and offered a discount, which we appreciated, but the second lasagna still only had one layer of pasta. This is not about compensation — it’s about consistency and quality. We hope Carrabba’s brings back the lasagna quality we have enjoyed for many years.”

“Tim and Eds’ Park Dive is the local place! Clean and friendly, “dive” is definitely tongue in cheek. Small without being cramped, you are immediately welcomed in like a friend and neighbor. There is a well-tended outside area with plenty of seating and occasional events. Prices are great but eat before you get here ‘cause there is no food. There is a nice selection of domestic a local craft beers and wines (but no liquor). Sports on tv and video games are there for entertainment, but conversation runs easy here and it’s a relaxing time.”

“Community Brewhouse is the kind of place that keeps us coming back again and again. The beer is consistently excellent, with a thoughtful rotating selection that always has something fresh and fun. On our most recent visit, I had the Alien Space Juice (a hazy NEIPA at 6.4% ABV that was raw, juicy, and bursting with hop flavor), while my wife enjoyed the Squirrel Chaser (a 5% golden lager, crisp and classic). Both were fantastic. The service here is truly off the charts. Gabe and Ernie are behind the bar and are warm, welcoming, and the kind of people who make you feel like family the minute you walk in. Jose is also outstanding, attentive and genuinely friendly and a marketing genius. That level of hospitality sets Community Brewhouse apart. We also have to give a shout-out to Gary, one of the brewers. Once we tried his Beerless Shadow beer, which comes with one of the best backstories we’ve ever heard. The name comes from a real brewery mishap: a pipe opened and blasted a pressurized stream of beer across the room. Gary happened to be standing in the line of fire, and when it stopped, the wall behind him showed a perfect silhouette where the beer hadn’t landed. That outline became “Gary’s Beerless Shadow.” We love grabbing a pint and sitting outside for a game of cribbage. On 9/24 we had the chance to attend their wine & cheese kickoff event. It was a wonderful expansion of what they offer: Tom, the “Sanford Sommelier,” curated a lineup that included Cava, Loire Sauvignon Blanc, Mencía, Chilean Carmenere, and a reserve Cab/Carmenere blend. These aren’t the typical value wines you’d expect to see at a brewery. Real thought went into the lineup, the prices were very affordable, and the cheese pairings were spot-on. It’s exciting to see them growing beyond beer into wine, while still keeping that neighborhood, community-driven vibe. Highly recommend Community Brewhouse, whether you’re into craft beer, good wine, or just good people!”

My only complaint at this time would be that there are no lights on the outside menu when you drive up. One day it was after dark and I had to get out of my car to even read it. IDK It’s doesn’t sound like people have had the same experience as me so I hope management takes these reviews and does something about it. “The owners of this establishment are true examples of the level of hospitality you would receive in PR! If you’ve experienced it, you know! They go above and beyond to serve their guests. I found this place many years ago and could never find it again until I moved directly behind it lol, same wife/husband team, love their canoas when they have them, lasagna, empanadas, the arroz con gandules is to the level of what abuela makes! If you don’t like anything on the menu today, try back tomorrow. Always something new. Great drink selection, always spotlessly clean. Love these guys!”

“We love Parvas. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have gluten free options. We always eat lunch or dinner, but today we tried their breakfast and it did not disappoint! Everything was delicious.”

“I had a traditional breakfast. My daughter had a Philly steak sandwich. Both were pretty good, coffee was pretty strong but some people like it that way. So after dropping my daughter at the airport I came back for ice cream because they have an ice cream counter that probably contains 60 or 70 different ice creams. So I ordered the rocky road. It was extremely hard for the young lady to dip it, when she handed it to me I immediately started to eat it. Then I walked up to the counter to pay for it. $5.25 for one scoop ice cream cone. I just paid for it and left because I'd already started to eat it. My fault. That won't happen again. That price is absolutely ridiculous. The rest of the pricing on the food wasn't bad. Rhonda did a lovely job taking care of us and serving us.”

The service and our very pleasant Lady who waited on us was top shelf ( sorry We didn't get Her name , said She was from Jacksonville ) The chow was some, if not the best, Fish and Chips superb, Mushy Peas ! . Best Chicken wings I've ever had .. A real old time Motor cafe ., where You really felt welcome .. You need a big Neon sign out front, and adverts in all the Motorcycle web sites, and Magazines . “We had time to kill before heading to the airport. I googled restaurants nearby and they popped up! After I read the reviews, decided to give them a try. I got the garlic jumbo shrimp and seafood rice. My son got the bbq wings, tilapia and fries. Sister got the Philly cheesesteak and fries. 10/10. He cooks it fresh to order so be patient but I promise it’s worth the wait! Will def be back the next time I fly into Sanford!!”

They were sold out of lemonade, which was a bummer. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The patio furniture is unexpectedly comfortable.”

It was my hubby's birthday and the server brought out beignets and sang happy birthday! That was nice.

Big complaint...the overall service dampened the whole dining experience. No silverware on the table, so the food came and we had to wait to dig in. Had to get up to request a knife and then ask a couple of times for sauce. The server was not friendly and attitude lackluster.

Service is a huge part of the dining experience, if the food wasn't excellent I would have taken off 4 stars. I'll pass on future dine in but will potentially order to go. The food was some of the best Cajun I've had in years!”

Not only is he great at food and service but he always seems to be active working on something aside from other employees I've seen him working with, particularly one (coughcough Madison). “The Pierogis here are exquisite and simple but absolutely packed with flavor. Worth the 30 minute drive to get here. The portion size is also pretty great. 6 pierogis are more than enough to fill you up. These people dont skimp on the filling, thats for sure.”

“Such a hidden gem ! The vibe is incredibly chill and lowkey, and everyone from the workers and the owner to the other customers are so welcoming. The drinks are amazing! On top of that, the setup is really cool. They have a pool table, video games, and board games to keep you entertained. If you just want to hang out and relax, there are plenty of seating areas everywhere, including the bar, comfortable couches, and a great outdoor space.”
